> 3 dayI purchased this new SSD as replacement for my girlfriend’s computer. I am using the Samsung 970 EVO plus 1TB myself, and see the performance is nearly identical while the price tag is much lower. SK hynix seems to have brought an exceptional product with this one.

Greater than one weekBought the product and when I installed it I was stuck on the pre-bios screen. I thought there was a problem with the m.2_2 port and removed the ssd. I ran the pc again with my original ssd and my pc boot up perfectly. I changed the slots so i put my old ssd into the m.2_2 port and this one into the m.2_1 and i was still stuck on pre-bios. I removed my old ssd and tried to load it up again and I was still stuck on the pre-bios screen.I removed the ssd and used another ssd that I bought and installed the new one and my old ssd and my pc was able to boot up.

Greater than one weekDoes not properly initialize and function with macOS. Otherwise, this looks on paper as a great SSD.

Greater than one weekIf you use Mac, beware! It is insanely annoying to use this adapter on a mac. Not only do you need an adapter that isnt included, but you also need a windows computer to install the newest firmware because without the firmware macos wont recognize the drive at all! i work in the software field, so im technologically literate, and even I was annoyed to do this. Stray away

> 3 dayNice and cool. Been running it in an external NVMe enclosure, ELUTENG M.2 NVME SATA NGFF Enclosure Dual Protocol USB3.1 GEN2 M2 SSD. Transferred lots of big files plus 1.4M small/tiny files (Art Explosion pic files). Its hardly even warm, 115F.

> 3 dayThe Hynix P31 PCIe NVMe SSD does not work with Mac OS, regardless using external TB3/USB 3.1 (Gen2) enclosure or interna NGFF NVMe SSD adapter. Otherwise it will be a good alternative to Samsung NVMe PCIe SSD.
