> 3 dayThis is a 2-part review. Original review is toward the end, latest review is immediately below: I decided to repurchase this item since the one I first purchased a year ago worked so well. This version of the product has been misrepresented to customers to be compatible with the SmartLife App, including throughout the item description and instructions on the product listing. THIS VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMARTLIFE APP! This apparently different or new version of the device is only compatible with the Cloud Intelligence App. As a longtime smart home device user, I have managed to keep all my devices linked to a small variety of apps (Sengled Home and SmartLife, and my surveillance camera app.) downloading yet another app to control a device I purposely chose based on it’s (erroneously) stated compatibility with the apps I already use is hogwash. These plugs (4 pack, model YX-WS01) will be returned and a complaint filed with amazon for the seller misrepresenting the product. Since Esicoo seems to have chosen another app to work with their products, I’ll be paying more for Teckin brand, since they are equally reliable and haven’t pulled a bait and switch scam on me. Original review for SmartLife App-Compatible version of this item below: Great smart outlets, affordable and excellent function overall. With all the different apps required to control the different smart outlets on the market, I’ve managed to only use those that connect via the SmartLife app. These paired perfectly, on the first try. The instructions are easy to follow, and the outlets work very well. These are definitely worth the buy, especially if you already have others connected to the SmartLife app.

> 3 dayI like they are small, but they didnt work after the power went out. The 2.4 internet connection, for me, didnt work. My brother got me hooked up, but I couldnt re hook it up after we lost power. Its probably worth it for me to pay more, with the people friendly option.

> 3 dayI bought this product in the past and left a bad review. I rarely do that so that gives you an idea how frustrated I was. However, after posting the bad review I was contacted by the company. I did not have a bad experience with their communication like some people have reported. I was polite with them and they were polite with me. It was simply important to them that their product does well. I can respect that. They offered several solutions and the one I agreed to was a do over to give them another chance. They claimed to have redesigned the electronics and addressed the things in my negative review. I received the replacement outlets free. Even though they looked the same, they worked very differently. I was able to join one to my existing network without any adjustments or problems. It worked just like it was supposed to and automatically joined with Alexa from their Cloud Intelligence app. I do wish all these smart appliance makers would just integrate with one id and password but right now that part is unavoidable. So, in summary, you do need a 2.4 gigahertz wireless network for these just like you do for all the lower priced smart appliances. It works with Alexa just fine and setup is a breeze. The company will stand behind their product if you have a problem and the lady I dealt with was excellent at email communication in english. I would recomment this cost effective solution.

> 3 dayI have several brands of smart plugs and products. All I own are google or Alexa compatible. This plug is not seamless. I have to link Alexa everytime I install a new plug. Others manufacturers are recognized as soon as I install. Moreover, the manufacturer Cloud interferenceis not on amazons list of plug manufacturer. Ill keep them because they are cheap. I assume this manufacturer bought out a defunct Chinese manufacturer or just changed their name.

> 3 dayGreat product, easy install. Very useful and allows you to plug in 3 pin plugs to your outlets (AKA grounded plugs) into your outlets. The only problem with this product is that you have to set the scheduled on & off times in military hours. The majority of the world doesn’t go off military hours so it’s annoying. To get it right you have to google for a military time to standard time picture/diagram to program it correctly. Secondly when the app logs you out, which is often, you have to log in again and acknowledge the terms of use each, and every time, it’s very unnecessary a little bothersome, but it’s not the end of the world. Other than that you’ll love this product. It’s very useful, and you can control it when you are away from home. It’s also more compact than the old standard light timers which require pins, and buttons, and sometimes you hit those buttons when you’re cleaning which then messes everything up. Moreover if you have multiple old timers they all turn on at different times even if you try to match them perfectly. BUT!!! With these “NEW” digital Bluetooth wifi timers you can turn everything on at the same time like Christmas or decorative lighting. Or you also have the option of having lamps, or anything else turn on at different times. You have better control with these new timers. Definitely a win, and I love the product. Please change the military time format.

> 3 dayI have to unplug them and plug them back in every two weeks or so when they stop showing up on the phone app. The phone app is a swiss army knife made for dozens of different kinds of devices, and needs more permissions than are justified. Every couple of months the app forgets who you are and youll be digging for your login credentials, so youve been warned... put them in a password manager. Other than that... yeah... they work OK.

> 3 dayI was a little skeptical at first when I ordered these because I was not familiar with the brand. The size of these smart plugs is very convenient. The quality is very good. I rated the installation a 3 instead of a 5 and overall product a 4 out of 5 only because even though I have English selected for the app a few selections / options still show up in a different language I can’t read and have to use a translator app to read (e.g. scene actions selection). Overall I am happy with these. I wish they worked with Apple’s Siri too but these are working great with my Echo dots and the Alexa app (iOS). The Cloud Intelligence app even works remotely via cellular internet while away from home and not just on my home Wifi, so this is great to turn lights on when I am on my way home or to check if I forgot to turn my lights off after I leave.
