> 3 dayGet the kasa smart plug instead. They are easy to connect and never fail. I got kasa after buying the esicoo and they were wonderful 1. Esicoo has 6 different types of smart plugs and none have model numbers 2. The instructions say hold button for 5 seconds and it starts blinking. The app has two choices:slow blink and fast blink. The plug blinks right in the middle and neither option works. 3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not help 4. There are no way to reset the plug. 5. The plugs will not connect to app. 6. You will spend hours trying to connect them and fail. 7. There is zero tech support. 8. These are cheaply made and throw onto Amazon to collect free money from suckers 9. Your phone will be connected to your 2.4ghz wifi and the app will think it’s 5ghz and ask you to switch. This is after an uninstall and reinstall of the app. 10. You have to search for the app name to down load. Ap name not found on Amazon description. 11. No manual online. 12. I have worked in IT for 20 years. This is the only electronic device that I have hated. It’s like the manufacture created it as a gag gift to piss off a friend. Do NOT but these plugs. They will make you scream in frustration.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs are really for someone who purchase smart devices for the first time. These power plugs have a really attractive price. For someone who already have some smart devices, we are looking for devices that will be compatible with our existing devices and systems, for easy access and programming. It is not possible to use a WiFi motion sensor installed in Tuya/Smart Life to control and WiFi switch installed under Cloud Intelligence. It is also a much worse headache to find out if my living room light and my kitchen fan are in Smart Life or in Cloud Intelligence -- of course, if you have only two devices, this is not the problem. If you have 20 WiFi devices ... you will not be happy to play this seeking game 20 times a day. It will not take a long time for someone to start putting everything under a same app, or existing app... I was very happy to purchase these plugs with the great price, but soon I am so disappointed to find out that these ESICOO plugs are not the same, they cannot be installed to Smart Life, where all of my WiFi devices are installed, motion sensors, switches, plugs, and mini plugs. So that these ESICOO plugs cannot interact with other existing wifi devices locally. To integrate with my existing devices, I will have to use Echo, involving additional cloud exposure. In addition, these plugs cannot be installed with Tasmota firmware over the air either by EZ mode or AP mode. It is very hard to open one up and wire connect directly risking to stab one thumb with a screw driver and burn another with a soldering iron. These plugs are also described as compatible with Vera. But this is a false statement. The true is, they CANNOT be installed in VeraLite or VeraEdge. There is no Vera plug-in or App for them. I give three stars because these plugs turn on- and off and have WiFi. Someone may be able to use them. But, to myself, these plugs are one star, because if I use them, I have to trash all my existing smart devices!

> 3 dayI was a little skeptical at first when I ordered these because I was not familiar with the brand. The size of these smart plugs is very convenient. The quality is very good. I rated the installation a 3 instead of a 5 and overall product a 4 out of 5 only because even though I have English selected for the app a few selections / options still show up in a different language I can’t read and have to use a translator app to read (e.g. scene actions selection). Overall I am happy with these. I wish they worked with Apple’s Siri too but these are working great with my Echo dots and the Alexa app (iOS). The Cloud Intelligence app even works remotely via cellular internet while away from home and not just on my home Wifi, so this is great to turn lights on when I am on my way home or to check if I forgot to turn my lights off after I leave.

> 3 dayI put this in my mother’s home while she was going to be away for a while. At first they were great. I live and hour away and was able to turn light on and off to give the appearance that she was still home. But only after a month they stopped working and when we tried to redo them ( we thought maybe the power or wifi went off and messed them up). This did not work. Then when I wanted to return them it was too late to get a refund. Frustrating!!

Greater than one weekYes, I can control these with Alexa, but I had to download an app from the manufacturer, then give Alexa the skill to use the app. Out of the box, these cannot be used or seen by Alexa. I would buy these again, because Ive already experienced the growing pains, and I wouldnt want to have another system/app to deal with if Ibuy another brand (I dont want to fill my phone with apps). I would recommend, with the caveat that you know that you need to deal with another app.

> 3 dayWith a Wifi 6 mesh network. With both 2.4 and 5ghz networks with same ssid. This does not work at all with out breaking the network settings. Needs to be on a ssid thats 2.4 only and not smart enough to know what is what. All are like this but thought Id try. Sent back.

> 3 dayWe got these and while initially connecting to the wifi was a bit of a pain, they worked. Every now and then they would glitch, and Alexa wouldnt be able to communicate to turn off the lamp. But overall, it was fine. Until about a month ago when we changed our wifi password. Now it doesnt matter what we try, they will not reconnect. I go through the steps to set it back up and it doesnt work, wont even let the app connect to the plug. Theyll be going in the garbage.

> 3 dayI dont like how the plugs keep losing the internet connection then I have to press button on side of plug to reconnect. Most of the time this doesnt work. One plug didnt work at all and I asked for a replacement. Instead they sent me an entire box of plugs, 4. Even after I returned the 1 defective plug, I got charged for the replacement plugs. I didnt ask for 4 plugs to replace 1 plug. Not very happy with how this was handled. If you can keep the internet connection with the plugs they do work with Alexa.

> 3 dayThese were so easy to install. It took probably five minutes to set up all four of them for my Christmas lights around my house. I love that you can set up a schedule for when do you want them to turn on and off. But I’m not super thrilled about the military time on the app but I’ll get over it lol.
