> 3 day2022 Dec update: Just wanted to add that it still works with Alexa. I saw a lot of 1star reviews stating it does not. Once you added your plugs to the smart app, you need to link your app with alexa and it works without problems. Very good bundle price! Easy setup with Alexa! Phone app is also great, I love the timer function! Only downside is that because it is circular and not rectangular, it limits your double sockets. You can still use the second but only with smaller, simple plugs. If your second plug is bigger, there’s not enough room to use it on the same socket.

> 3 dayThis review is for the product released around 2018 that uses Smart Life. Using the product was painless, very simple, and fast. I ordered 2 sets (4 each) when the product went on sale and all worked fine and only 1 failed (which prompted me to write this review). When 1 out of 8 failed, I reached out to the seller, and I never have to return the failed device, I just got sent 4 of them (a full set). It was fast, it was efficient, no questions asked replacement because he told me that this product have 2 years warranty. I hope that other companies follow suit. I gave this product a 5 star (the old version), for price, performance, customer support, warranty, and versatility. Btw, the replacement I got doesnt seem to be compatible with Smart Life, so I have yet to test it. Pros: + Easy to set up + Fast connection + Maintains 2.4 GHz link for a long time + Warranty (2yrs) and Customer Support + Supports Google Home / Assistant Cons: - Build quality is not the best, plastic body feels rough - Power On/Off feels cheap Neutral: = Price, if you like this product, watch out for coupons or deals. = 10A and 2.4Ghz WiFi

> 3 dayIm using these to control the light and heat panels to my chicken house. I let them out in the day even in freezing weather so theres no sense in heating an open coop. So the heat comes on only when needed. Lights as well go off after a while so they can rest in winter without constant light. It also comes on at the same time signaling bedtime and they usually return to the coop voluntarily. I also can control it via the app remotely if I feel its super cold I cant turn the heat on from the house to allow them a warmer space to wait out the rain or what have you. I will surely find other uses as well, perhaps for pond features, turning them off at night to conserve energy, etc. Or in place of dusk to dawn feature with shed lighting that needs plugging in. Very impressed with the ease of the app set up and responsiveness of the devices. You can rename them to keep them straight. Not sure the hack ability but I figure hackers messing by with my chickens lights is the least of my concerns. Edit 8/6/22: removing a star only because these things are NOT every efficient. Were off grid so we were using these to turn lights on and off on a schedule for fowl and fans for hen houses, they burn too much energy just trying to stay connected to the WiFi. They are great for common houses attached to a grid that can just burn electricity all day and night, but they drain out batteries even when nothing is in use because the plug itself uses a electricity. A little disappointing but thats tech for you. I need something more basic that can run with little electrical use that wont drain my batteries before weve had a chance to use them for their intended purpose.

> 3 dayI dont like how the plugs keep losing the internet connection then I have to press button on side of plug to reconnect. Most of the time this doesnt work. One plug didnt work at all and I asked for a replacement. Instead they sent me an entire box of plugs, 4. Even after I returned the 1 defective plug, I got charged for the replacement plugs. I didnt ask for 4 plugs to replace 1 plug. Not very happy with how this was handled. If you can keep the internet connection with the plugs they do work with Alexa.

> 3 dayEvery time I install one of these I have to set my wifi to 2.4 to connect it, then switch it back and it still works, but that sure is a pain in the ass. Once thats done though, they work pretty well. I use them with Alexa routines daily and they have worked pretty flawlessly. There is a bit of a loud tick when turned on though.

20-11-2024You have to read the directions and download the app that suggests. Then link that app with your alexa app not too hard to do although im not text savvy. So if I can do it anyone can. Just be patient follow the directions they work great.

> 3 dayYes, I can control these with Alexa, but I had to download an app from the manufacturer, then give Alexa the skill to use the app. Out of the box, these cannot be used or seen by Alexa. I would buy these again, because Ive already experienced the growing pains, and I wouldnt want to have another system/app to deal with if Ibuy another brand (I dont want to fill my phone with apps). I would recommend, with the caveat that you know that you need to deal with another app.
