Keeps constantly disconnecting, convoluted process to connect to Alexa, requiring an email address just to use… these plugs are pretty much worthless. Unless you need something quick, to hold you until you purchase decent ones, don’t bother. The other issues are workable, but no… constantly disconnecting is a no-no for a smart device. I only gave the extra star because its responsive at least 45-50% of the time.

I love the ease of setting these up and adding them to be controlled by Alexa. For some reason once and a while a plug will randomly go offline (I have 8.) Not a huge deal for most of them. You just have to unplug for a few seconds, then replug in. Not terrible, just annoying. I would say probably once a week or maybe longer one random plug will be offline.

I wish I would have seen the exact same plugs that uses the Smart Life app for the same price, before I purchased these. These plugs run off an app named Cloud Intelligence. So, it takes additional steps to set them up. Its another app you have to pair with Alexia. Its another app to sign up for, another account, another password, and another company with your email address. Its another app you need to figure out how to use. Later, you have to remember which app runs what plug and it gets overwhelming. I have multiple light bulbs, multiple plugs, multiple light switches, a thermostat, a washer, and a TV. Now, guess the name of the app that runs what, if you have to reset it. Other than that, the plugs work fine.

I have these all over my house and love them......Although......Im gradually losing them one by one. They seem to stop working after a couple of years.

I actually read the disclosure statement and it boldly states that any personal information that is gathered from this plug can be shared with the Peoples Republic of China. No thanks, sent them back.

Open the box and see I have to download an app to use the SmartPlugs. The App is called Cloud Intelligence. I sure dont like downloading and having Chinese app with a questionable name. It sure doesnt give me confidence that the app is not compromising my data. I tried several other apps, but they would not connect the plugs. I gave in and installed the app. It connected fairly easily and then I connected it to google home and can now use my voice to turn lights on or off. To use the schedule feature, you have to open their app as it cant be done through google home. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, but they should really consider changing the name of their app. It doesnt give me much hope of any security...

I was initially in love with these at first. But, after using them for about 3 weeks, two of them keep saying they are not responding. We have reset them several times and they still won’t work. I guess I’m just stuck with them now.

Don’t buy these, even in the perfect conditions they don’t connect. Right next to the router on 2.4 signal.
