> 3 dayWe have a refrigerator out in our uninsulated garage. I wanted to monitor the temperature for 2 reasons. ONE, during the winter I want to ensure temperatures are maintained. TWO, this is an old fridge, so I want to be alerted if it stops working altogether. I love that these monitors collect a history so that I can easily keep an eye on things. I found the setup to be very easy and quick. I connected directly to wifi using my Eero system. I love that there will be alerts sent directly to my phone so that I can take action ASAP. I just installed this today and I will absolutely update my review if anything changes.

> 3 dayI dont write a lot of reviews, but this one deserves my time to do so. We have a freezer in our garage, and for whatever reason, the door has been left slightly ajar a few times. And there we are with probably $75 of food that probably should be thrown out. So I went looking for a solution to let me know when thats happened. The YoLink is working great, and has already notified me twice that the freezer door was ajar (temperature rising). Our network router sits in a closet in the middle of the house, and the YoLink hub is plugged directly into that with the supplied ethernet cable. Then the YoLink sensor is in the freezer. It has no problem connecting with the hub through 4 walls and the freezer door. My only outstanding question is whether the sensor batteries will last very long. But still this product is well worth the money spent.

> 3 dayExcellent range and performance. I had spent over $150 for another sensor and even bought a range extender to try to get temp from a freezer downstairs but it still couldnt pick up signal. Returned those items and ordered Smart Wireless Themometer and water sensor for much less money and was surprised to see that all those great reviews were correct. It has great range and works flawlessly. I even bout a second system for my second home. It even picked up the signal when I tried the sensor in my next door neighbors freezer. Both systems, plus 3 extra water sensor, were still cheaper than the orignal system and extender I had returned

> 3 dayLove having these in the freezer for piece of mind. We have had freezers go bad before and lose everything. Decided to purchase these before we bought half a side of beef. Easy to hook up and install to router. App works great, easy to set temperature ranges. I get notifications if it goes above or below set temperatures. So glad they make these now.

07-06-2025I use this YoLink hub and the two temperature sensors to monitor the temperature of my kitchen refrigerator and freezer. Set up (which is often difficult with these types of wireless systems) was incredibly easy. The smartphone app is very well designed, intuitive and a pleasure to use. I was so pleased with the product that I purchased it again to monitor a second refrigerator on a different floor of the house. Again, setup was perfectly easy. The two hubs work in sync with each other and, should either of them fail, the other hub will continue to track all of the devices. Build quality of the hub and sensors is very good. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI have tried them all. This actually works. The temperature displayed on most freezer or fridges is not the actual temperature inside. This will fix that problem. And if someone leaves the freezer door open in a hot garage….this will let you know before it all goes bad. Truly a great investment. I needed you years ago!

> 3 dayBought this Fall 2022. Able to track indoor and outdoor temps in our house with our cell phones at home, out working and shopping, and away on vacations. Keeping us informed about our home heating situation and telling us what the outdoor temp is without another outdoor thermometer. The best most affordable choice on the market for homeowners. The outdoor sensor should be placed in constant shade on a north side not close to any heat source like a window or vent or an uninsulated wall. The WIFI for reception for all devices is good. Our base unit is in a basement home office. A sensor is in a less heated basement near the water service. Another sensor is in our master bedroom. This gives us our outdoor, basement and upstairs conditions that together give us a full understanding of our indoor/outdoor freeze potential. On vacation last winter, we realized from this YoLink system that our thermostat set backs to reduce our house heating was not working as expected. We called our daughter who came over the house and corrected our thermostats to the settings we wanted. We probably saved the cost of this equipment by substantially reducing our heating energy that one time.

> 3 dayMy fridge/freezer starting showing signs of failure so I bought this Yolink device to monitor them and get notified of issues. IT JUST WORKS! Simple to configure, works reliably, and does exactly what it’s designed to do. I especially like the flexibility in alarm settings and also alert settings. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone. It’s worth every penny!

Greater than one weekPurchased this for our garage refrigerator / freezer after reading some horror stories about food spoiling because of not knowing the refrigerator or freezer stopped working. This took only a few minutes to set up and install. Integrated with the phone app after only a couple of tries. Adding the Alexa skill was easy as well. Now if there are any temperature excursions I get push notifications on the app and an email. I can also ask Alexa what the temperature is at any given time. Also, the 2 sensors (1 in the fridge and 1 in the freezer) have great wireless communication with the base unit which is inside the home in another room. Would recommend.

> 3 dayI bought this after my last freezer up and died an snow I am paranoid about my brand new freezer doing the same. The sensors are tiny and accurate and the set up was extremely easy. However, the notifications dont seem to be 100% reliable and this is the only reason I am taking a point off. It does not always tell me when my gateway is offline and without that, the temperatures are not being recorded/alerted if out if range. I occassionally get an email that my gateway is connected again but did not know it was offline in the first place. That is the omw concerning thing for me. That said, when my freezers go out if range i do get the notifications and can monitor them accordingly. All in all, a great budget solution that doesnt require further subscription fees (unless you want to upgrade)
