Greater than one weekI bought this because my freezer got left open and I had to throw away several hundred dollars worth of food since it spoiled. Today the freezer got left open yet again (I think the magnets are going bad) and I was notified within 40 minutes of it being left open. We had just completely restocked our freezer and would have probably had to throw away close to $800 worth of food. This system was insanely easy to setup and was probably the easiest thing Ive setup in years, the temperature readings are accurate to 1 degree or closer, and for the cost its just a no-brainer. The thousands of dollars this system is probably going to save me over the years is worth the cost 10 times over and then some. I couldnt recommend this system more and if youve ever left your refrigerator or freezer open and wasted food I wouldnt even hesitate to buy this system!

> 3 dayI dont write a lot of reviews, but this one deserves my time to do so. We have a freezer in our garage, and for whatever reason, the door has been left slightly ajar a few times. And there we are with probably $75 of food that probably should be thrown out. So I went looking for a solution to let me know when thats happened. The YoLink is working great, and has already notified me twice that the freezer door was ajar (temperature rising). Our network router sits in a closet in the middle of the house, and the YoLink hub is plugged directly into that with the supplied ethernet cable. Then the YoLink sensor is in the freezer. It has no problem connecting with the hub through 4 walls and the freezer door. My only outstanding question is whether the sensor batteries will last very long. But still this product is well worth the money spent.

> 3 dayIf this is the kind of device you are looking for to be able to remotely view temps and humidity this is the best one I have used so far. Even better than so called name brands. I dont get all kinds of false alarms. The interface is easy to use but not stripped down to bare minimums. Most importantly, it just works, worked easily practically out of the box. No drama, no fees. Its great.

Greater than one weekI have tried them all. This actually works. The temperature displayed on most freezer or fridges is not the actual temperature inside. This will fix that problem. And if someone leaves the freezer door open in a hot garage….this will let you know before it all goes bad. Truly a great investment. I needed you years ago!

> 3 dayFirst off I have another system I bought on Amazon that has no communicating Hub between the sensors like Yo-link does! What that means Is much longer range that I needed to reach my outdoor enclosed well pump house my ThermoPro sensor couldn’t stay on line kept loosing signal till I could physically get back to my lake cabin and unplug it to reset it then after I left it would go offline again within a day or so! The Yo-link reaches the pump house with ease! But better yet it also reports to my phone via the app when temperatures dip below or above the temp range I set to be notified about if that happens! Also the sensors use two Tripple AAA batteries it comes with alkaline, but I chose to instal lithium which I know lasts up to 5 years in the frozen tundra where I live in Wisconsin from my experience with other weather stations units I had which used an outdoor sensor but they were not WiFi capable just sensor to station which sets on a table in the house. Yo-link has its own WiFi hub that’s only about 5”X5” square and less than a inch high that connects to your router and is powered by a usb cable and plugs into any power outlet, this hub is the only part that plugs in and powerful long range communicates with as many sensors you want to place in and out side of your home! So you can put them anywhere no need for power for every sensor like the other brand has to have, and the other brand doesn’t have the hub to broadcast to and from the individual sensors that’s why you get the long range, the other brands sensors has to each connect to your WiFi individually and they are finicky as to where they pick up signal! To far away or inside another out building without WiFi and you don’t get connected! So I was really pleased and surprised with Yo-links performance, and it solved all my problems for about half the money of the other brands price!

> 3 dayUsing to monitor temperatures in Kitchen and Garage freezers. Also purchased YoLink Water Sensor 2 and that is working as expected. The hub and sensors have a nice look and feel. Tested high and low temperature alerts and can say they are working well so far. The YoLink app on the iPhone looks clean and works well for me. Dropped a star because setting up the hub to my WiFi network was a challenge. The hub only supports 2.4Ghz WiFi and apparently the iPhone must also be on 2.4GHz WiFi in order to set up the hub to work on a secure home WiFi network. The iPhone kept connecting to 5GHz by default and could not complete the hub setup step. Since 5GHz signals have a shorter range than 2.4GHz, I solved it by taking hub and phone to far end of house where I had a weak WiFi signal. Was then able to setup the hub to our WiFi.

> 3 dayThe unit works well, my only issue with the device(software) is that while the sensors report every 5 minutes when you export the data it lists only on the hour. i.e. 08:00, 09:00, etc. The exported data is reported in GMT and Celsius only.
