Greater than one weekWe are in North Central Florida and have a farm with valuable temperature sensitive plants in high tunnels. I used to have to start heaters when the weather station reported near freezing, then Id have to check that the heaters were on every hour or so through the night. WiFi based monitors did not have the range to reliably hit our structures. Enter LoRa. We need minimal data, now and then. The YoLink system was perfect. It is so simple. Now I can get to sleep, get an alert when temps approach freezing, and then go back to bed. Each tunnel has an alarm, and if the heater shuts off or it gets too cold-- I get a message. Perfect. I added some motion detectors to let me know if deer or local delinquents are on the farm. They are perfect too. Great products, and the ease of connection is the real bonus of the YoLink system. The system is generally inexpensive. My only criticism is that it would be great to have ultra-low cost ($10 range) LoRa relays that could trigger 12-24v to actuate any device. Id love to have all of my irrigation zones on the network. Right now the closest solution is $45, and not in the budget. Overall, great for an introductory LoRa system.

Greater than one weekThe product is easy to install. Long range and communicates well with app and hub even though the sensor is in the garage in a freezer. Awesome

> 3 dayI was reluctant to buy these, or any product similar, but because of the affordable price and the need I purchased them. I own a restaurant with 4 large freezers, sometimes an employee would leave a door open or not completely close it. These have allowed us to get warnings, at the temperatures we choose, so we don’t lose product. We receive notification on our phones from anywhere if a freezers temp goes too high. Was super easy to set up, after plugging in the hub to out router (I hope those are the right computer words) I just had to scan QR codes and we were up and running. Comes with an app that makes it easy to monitor the freezers and set them up with our needs/warning temps. After I had the first two monitors up and running I ordered two more. One in the same room as the other two freezers, in the same room as the hub, and other for the kitchen freezer two rooms away. All are working wonderfully!

Greater than one weekI bought these for my 2 freezers. We lost some meat in our freezer because I didn’t know it wasn’t cold enough and the meat thawed out. It brings some peace of mind knowing I’ll get a notification when the temperature gets above the threshold I set. It is also interesting because it shows how the temperature naturally fluctuates and I can even see when it defrosts.

17-11-2024Be aware of what you buy. An other brand I bought only works on Bluetooth so you only have phone/app readings when you are near them. But this product works on wifi, so you can access them anywhere thru an app on your phone AND get phone alerts for temperature or humidity. The charting/history granularity is one hour minimum however alerts can be set for a minimum of 10 minutes. That all said if you wants alerts because of a power outage, then your wifi may be out also so you would not get alerts or readings without some backup power source. The units are battery powered and with a battery status icon on the app. The hub unit plugs into ac power. It can be set up via cable to a router or via your wifi network.

> 3 dayI bought these to monitor the temperature in my pump house and in the freezer in my office. This device works perfectly, and exactly as I hoped it would. I had to call customer service for some assistance in setting it up, and they were very helpful.

> 3 dayFirst off I have another system I bought on Amazon that has no communicating Hub between the sensors like Yo-link does! What that means Is much longer range that I needed to reach my outdoor enclosed well pump house my ThermoPro sensor couldn’t stay on line kept loosing signal till I could physically get back to my lake cabin and unplug it to reset it then after I left it would go offline again within a day or so! The Yo-link reaches the pump house with ease! But better yet it also reports to my phone via the app when temperatures dip below or above the temp range I set to be notified about if that happens! Also the sensors use two Tripple AAA batteries it comes with alkaline, but I chose to instal lithium which I know lasts up to 5 years in the frozen tundra where I live in Wisconsin from my experience with other weather stations units I had which used an outdoor sensor but they were not WiFi capable just sensor to station which sets on a table in the house. Yo-link has its own WiFi hub that’s only about 5”X5” square and less than a inch high that connects to your router and is powered by a usb cable and plugs into any power outlet, this hub is the only part that plugs in and powerful long range communicates with as many sensors you want to place in and out side of your home! So you can put them anywhere no need for power for every sensor like the other brand has to have, and the other brand doesn’t have the hub to broadcast to and from the individual sensors that’s why you get the long range, the other brands sensors has to each connect to your WiFi individually and they are finicky as to where they pick up signal! To far away or inside another out building without WiFi and you don’t get connected! So I was really pleased and surprised with Yo-links performance, and it solved all my problems for about half the money of the other brands price!

> 3 dayExcellent product. Excellent range. I have both motion sensors and temperature sensors and they work great! When I upgraded my Internet service provider, I had to make sure all of my devices were working and had trouble getting this to connect to the new service. After spending about two hours trying to reestablish communication between the hub and my Internet, I finally called customer service. But helpful person got to the bottom of the problem almost immediately. (I had the device plugged into the modem instead of the router!!!!) So… The only problem I’ve had with the products have been my own fault. I monitor motion in my garage and car that is parked on the street and temperature at my cabin while I am at home in a different city. Great peace of mind and fantastic products!
