> 24 hourI’m not certain how much more quality one can find in a cat litter scoop. I’m really impressed with it and by my age, I’ve seen & used a hell of a lot of cat litter scoops. It’s large, durable metal & designed to do what it does…scoop feces & pee. When I die, they’ll be fighting over who gets the Guggci of litter scoop. LOL

> 24 hourThis scoop is 1000x better than the flimsy plastic scoop that came with the litterbox! It really gets in there, makes quick work of cleaning the box.

> 24 hourFinally! A manly-man kitty litter scoop! Our 3 cats with 6 litter boxes, does their daddy proud! Unfortunately, mom usually is scooping the boxes. Remember the old Secret deodorant commercial? “Strong enough for a man but made for a woman.” Ladies with this beast you could convince your man that you couldn’t possibly handle such a tool and that only he could. I don’t mean to be sexist, but if it gets you out of scooping, does it really matter? Seriously, it is well built and does not flex at all even when handling large, heavy clumps. Definitely worth the extra couple dollars.

> 24 hourIf you have senior cats, you know they drink massive quantities of water and then need to eliminate said water, likely in a litter pan. Both of our senior cats have medical issues (one being diabetic) so the water intake and elimination is exacerbated further. I finally upgraded to this scooper, and it is worth every penny (its not even expensive). It does a great job shoveling out the truly unbelievable quantities of pee my cats are capable of producing. Often the litter is so saturated it was difficult to remove with a decent sized and heft plastic scoop without it beginning to buckle under the weight. The litter would also get stuck in the gratings and require repeated banging or scraping against the side of the litter pan to get it off. This scooper handles the wet urine patties much better - a little still gets stuck when navigating some of the biggest clumps but they are huge so this is to be expected - but the litter comes out much more easily. Also it is such a generous scoop that you can take out giant clumps in full without them breaking up and spilling the urine-saturated litter back into the pan you are trying to clean. I browsed several models before settling on this one and liked that this model is smooth-edged vs with teeth at the end which I think would just cause the wet litter to cling to and scratch the pan itself. The only cons for this scoop for me are that it is a bit hard on the wrist because its heavy and Im using it to scoop heavy piles of wet litter but its worth the sacrifice to actually have a scooper that can manage my cats truly astounding boulders of pee. P.S. It works just fine on the poop too.

> 24 hourWe have 4 cats and have been through a number of scoops. This one actually seems to work with the aluminum non-stick feature. My previous scoops have caught a thick layer of gross litter after a week of use and require frequent cleaning, but Ive used this for 2+ weeks and it has maintained its shiny aluminum exterior, with the exception of the bottom part that is caked with some stuff because it comes into contact with cat pee/poo all the time. Its not any bigger than the scoops Ive had before and the actual scoop part may even be smaller than my previous one from Chewy, but I would sacrifice size for function for sure.

> 24 hourThis thing is big and it is solid! I only gave it 4 stars though because you have to be careful. When I first got it out of the box, I cut my finger on one of the slits, so be careful!

> 24 hourMy cat loves to pee on the sides of his litter box, which always makes the litter clumps stick to the side. With my old scoop, I was always afraid it would crack as I tried to get them off, and it finally did. With this scoop, those are no longer a problem, because the metal edge perfectly scrapes the sides. It also has wider slots than my last scoop so the litter flows through it easily as I sift out the clumps. It’s a bit heavier than my other one, but looks like it could quite possibly last forever. It’s just what I needed!

> 24 hourLife-changing? Maybe a bit strong, but I wish Id purchased a sturdy scooper like this long ago....instead of a multiude of plastic/supermarket ones with handles that break so easily. HUGE scooping area, yet its well-balanced handle-wise makes it easy to use. I have two cats and though Id never thought of scooping their litter box as drudgery, I had no idea how much easier and more pleasant it could be. Seems to be very well made - Im sure it will last for years.

> 24 hourSturdy and looks ergonomic, but its not the right shape. Tapered end of the handle makes weirdly uncomfortable. Im irritated every time I use it.

> 24 hourI was scooping litter for a neighbors cat which bent my old metal scooper. I received my new Snugens litter scooper and when using it for the first time was amazed by how sturdy it was. It was slightly larger in size than my previous scooper but worked so much better with less effort! I love it!!
