> 24 hourI love this scoop! I have had two of them. (Two because my husband mixed cement with one of them - go figure). The edgers are sharp. They cut though the webbing of roots from the prior year. Fits in my hand nicely. I do not have small hands, but I do have some moderate arthritis. My hands do not tire as easily. I just finished buying two more, one each for my 8 yr. old granddaughters who are starting 4-H garden projects this. I bought with the intent of them keeping this as one of their first big girl gardening tools. I am excited. I do no use any other scoop. Very strudy and cleans up nice, too.

> 24 hourIts stainless steel which means it will take a long time before rusting, if ever. Where the stainless steel inserts into the wooden handle its very sturdy. With the teeth on both sides makes for cutting into hard soil easier than a regular gardening spade. The tool is ambidextrous. Its made to be used by both right and left handed people. As a gift, Id be sure to give it to an avid gardener, someone that would appreciate the uniqueness of this tool.

> 24 hourThere are several copies of this tool on the market, but this one is my opinion is the best. Its well made and will last a long time. It does the job of separating plants, scooping a nice amount of mulch and soil out of bags and containers. It would make a great gift for a gardener.

> 24 hourHave had mine for so long I do not recall where I got it. My husband recently used it to mix concrete and decided he needed one for himself, so now we have two. Not only is it useful in digging and planting, it is good for scooping used charcoal out of the weber.

> 24 hourI had not seen such a tool before. But traditional hand planting spades just didnt work for breaking through old roots to plant new bulbs. Worked extremely well with the serrated edges, pointed tip, deep scoop, and comfy handle.

> 24 hourThis is the greatest soil scoop because of it’s shape. You can dig a hole and lift out the dirt. However it’s greatest use is dog poop scooping. You can pick up the poop without pushing it away from you. This is no joke and I think it’s manufacturer is missing a great market.
