> 3 dayThis Soil Scoop is SO-O-O much better than a trowel because it doesnt just dig a small hole. It cuts small roots that may already be in the planting spot and then removes enough soil so the plant drops in easily. I lost my first one and my daughter gave me a similar but different tool, which I had to return because this is the only one for me.

> 3 dayI have had one of these for years and love it. Bought one for my neighbor, who is new to gardening.

> 3 dayThe is great if you are a gardener. It scoops dirt out of a hole easily. The teeth are really helpful getting thru clumps. I bought this as a gift for a friend. I have one and I love it.

Greater than one weekThis was a replacement for the same scoop which I accidently threw away. If not for that, Im sure the thing would have lasted forever. It had been a gift from a gardener friend and I was hooked on it after the first project. The curved design is great for working in pots, and the serrated edges help when there are roots and clots. A must for the home gardener. Final selling point--its made in the USA.

> 3 daySoil Scoops are great for any digging project, not just putting in new plants. I was extending some landscape lighting once, and I was working near where some other landscape lighting and irrigation lines were already buried. Obviously, I couldnt just get aggressive with a full size shovel, but poking around with the Soil Scoop prevented me from cutting into the other lines. The sharp point is useful for hard packed soil, and the serrated edges allow for cutting through intruding roots. In my opinion, this is a must-have tool. Made in USA, too.

> 3 dayI have over 60 potted plants that I repot almost every year. The soil scoop is now my new best garden tool. So easy to fill pots and bury new plants now. It’s extremely well built and comfortable in your hand. My landscaper used it and it got the name from him as I just had to have one. It’s a keeper for sure.
