Very comfortable and the battery last the advertised time amount. Noise canceling seems to go off when I simply move from my location. I need to research and see if there is a way to take it of auto mode and only take it off when I put my hand on the ear cup.

Worst BlueTooth / connectivity of any headphone Ive had by far.

Noise cancellation is very impressive and sound quality is surprisingly good. I use them for air travel, almost no engine noise!

2 year update: headphones failed this month. All of a sudden I started getting feedback on my right speaker. Very much like when you put a microphone next to a speaker. Very loud! This happens when noise cancelling is on. Headphones are not under warranty anymore so I was told by tech support that I would have to have them repaired myself. Dont waste your money on Sony.

Purchased February 2021 stopped holding charge in June. When they worked they worked great. Noise cancelling is sublime. Lots of issues with connection in the last couple of weeks. Useless now since they can’t power up. What a waste of money.

Admittedly, I have big ears. Not huge or sticking out, just large ears. That being said, these headphones are very, very shallow and my ears feel cramped up against the interior fabric. In fact, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such shallow ear cups on any other headphones. That obviously causes heat to build up much more quickly than deeper and more spacious cans. After a week or so of wearing them, I found myself taking them off more often and not wearing them as long do to the heat and eventual sweat that builds up within an hour.

Good headphones with decent noise cancellation, and great sound quality. They are the best headphones I have owned. They are super comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The only complain I have is that they arent compatible with ps4 via bluetooth. I can only use them wired as headphones only, without using the integrated mic. Unfortunately, the cable provided in the box is only an aux sterero cable, with no integrated mic line. I feel disappointed in that aspect since I expect a better quality cable and with integrated mic capability for the price payed.

Google Sony XM Right Ear and you will see posts describing a persistent issues since the XM3— after a few hours of use, the right earcup starts making a static noise. Lots of theories as to why, but in short it makes an annoying sounds worse than whatever I am trying to drown out. This happened with two different headsets, so Ive given up for the timing being. It is a shame since the audio quality is great and noise cancelling is otherwise great.

At times, there is a lot of Crackling noises through the headphones, sometimes powering off then on might fix this. I do not have other bluetooth devices running at the same time, the microwave is also not running. Also, connection to a Macbook is hit and miss. I can hear sound through the built in mac speakers just fine, but when using the headphones, the connection is based on my position in my house.
