why does a pair of headphones have to track you and send data about your activities to the cloud?

It sounds good, a tad warm for my tastes but the headphones are good overall. Great noise cancelling and the availability of LDAC is a nice touch for audiophiles like me.

The noise cancelling was amazing better than the Airpod pros. These headphones arent that good for working out. Sweat easily builds up and they can smell after some time. They started smelling after ~1 1/2 months of use. Also I wouldnt use them on PCs or consoles for gaming they really shine on mobile devices.

Keeps more sound out then my wife would like. Works great as a zoom meeting headset. Good sound and battery life.

I used my XM4 for about a week without any issues. However, a few days into using it, a weird hissing / static sound started to appear in the right ear of the headphone, which gave me headaches. After lots of research online, I found that this is a manufacturing defect that lots of people have experienced before, and is related to the firmware that performs the active noise cancelling.

The noise canceling and audio quality of these headphones are incredible!

Hurt my ears after about 10 minutes of wearing

Just bought this about a month ago and it has been my biggest investment for a pair of wireless headphones. The ear cups are very soft and comfortable. The sound quality is a solid 9/10. If you ride in a car going at 70-80 mph, there won’t be full noise cancellation. If you turn the volume up more than 50% during a music listening session, be warned that there is sound leakage. Do not take these to the gym as they aren’t waterproof. Perks are you can control the sound levels in the Sony app.

Must have gotten a defective product. Wh1000xm4 keeps turning off on its own, even when fully charged, while Im listening to music or watching a movie. Ive made sure to update to the latest firmware but the problem still persists.

I went to Best Buy and tried out all of the headphones they had available and these had the best noise cancellation and sound quality by far! I purchased a pair used on Amazon and I love them! They are the best headphones I have ever had.
