I live in the country, in a house that is not air-tight, and I was seriously struggling with ants in our cats food. Wed leave it in a different space, clean the floor, etc., to no avail. Leaving it down for a few hours, and youd go back and itd look like the food was moving! So gross! I got this, put it on the floor under the bowl, and it was an instant change! Its very effective, and even though well get the occasional ant on the floor if kitty drops some food, there are never any ants on this or in the bowl! Were 3 weeks in, and I highly recommend it.

Everytime we put out catfood on the porch, the ants are all over it and minutes. I didnt really think this would work, but it does!! No ants, theyre not even crawling around trying to get in.

I love this thing. I tried one then quickly came back and bought two more. Really does keep the ants out of the dog food.

I was skeptical but it works. Keeps the ants out. Now invent something that keeps the flies away. The feed bowl wanted to scoot off the platform but I solved that issue by applying some squiggly lines of hot glue to the bottom of the feed bowl that act like grippers.

Ants havent yet gotten to food.

Relieved that I can leave the food in a dish on this item and not worry that it will be attacked by ants. Been 3 days that my pet cat can now enjoy his foid without ant issues.

Platform does keep our ants For a while. But the ants eventually find the top of the bowl. You will need to check out that form periodically.

I have been using it for over a week now with no ants getting in our out door food bowl. We had a serious ant problem and no matter what I tried did not work until I tried this tray.
