This is a pretty cool item. It really does work to keep the ants out. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the picture is VERY deceiving. The food bowl they have sitting on the tray in the picture must be tiny. I have Aussies (medium sized dogs) with a normal size food bowl for a medium size dog, and the food bowls are bigger than the ant trays. It is a challenge to keep the bowls on the ant trays. Ive thought about velcro, but havent tried it, yet.

Had a problem with ants attacking our dog’s food, especially when the dogs did not finish everything right away. These have solved the problem quite well.
