I was skeptical but it works. Keeps the ants out. Now invent something that keeps the flies away. The feed bowl wanted to scoot off the platform but I solved that issue by applying some squiggly lines of hot glue to the bottom of the feed bowl that act like grippers.

This is a well-designed, no-nonsense ant-proof tray. If you want the simplest solution in ant proofing this is it. I have nothing but praise for this product.

Our original dog bowl would get taken over by ants instantly. Used this bowl and I no longer had to deal with any ants. Works great!

This is a simple solution to a problem I’ve always had with my pet bowls. I leave food down for my dog, so she can free- feed. Before I found this, I tried setting the bowl in a shallow tray with a little water. It did deter the ants. But if any food fell in there, which it always did, then I had another issue! This is an easy, secure and excellent solution to keep ants out of the food and also keep the area around the bowl neat and clean. The top has a non-skid surface with concentric circles to keep the bowl from moving. It is firmly attached to the white base, which is the ant deterrent piece. The ants physically cannot get to where the food is. I clean as needed with drop of dish soap and warm water and let it dry. The white base has 5 rubberized feet to keep the tray from sliding. The feet can come out, so I took a bit of glue and glued each pad on securely.I’m happy with this. It’s saved a lot of food.

I had my doubts but gave this a try. Ants constantly swarmed the cat food bowl on our front porch. There has not been an ant in the bowl since I started using this! I dont understand how it works but thrilled it does!

Had a problem with ants attacking our dog’s food, especially when the dogs did not finish everything right away. These have solved the problem quite well.

I always had to put a plate with water under my cats bowl and food would spill on it and look disgusting. I think this product is a bit pricey for some plastic pieces and i dont like the color but hey, it works!! so 5*. its a big plate so it would be good for pets of all sizes.
