This is a well-designed, no-nonsense ant-proof tray. If you want the simplest solution in ant proofing this is it. I have nothing but praise for this product.

I purchased this item some time ago for my dog’s food dish. It is amazing, no ants have made it to the food. Ants give up and go always. Now my cat has gotten a little sloppy, so the ants have returned so I bought another tray. I love that I don’t have to use sprays or ant traps near my pets food bowls. I highly recommend this tray.

I am feeding feral cats and was desperate for food bowls that would repel ants. This one does it. There have been NO ants in the food bowl for the week I have been using it. My suggestion for convenience: I use a larger round glass bowl to attach to the sticker on the anti-ant items surface. I use a smaller glass bowl that fits into the larger bowl for the food. That way I dont have to remove the bowl that is stuck to the surface of the item that is rejecting the ants. I just remove the inside bowl to wash it and reuse it.

I hardly ever leave reviews, however, this tray is a life saver! I was wasting so much money on cat food because ants were always infesting it, but this product has solved that problem. Not a single ant has invaded the cats food bowls. I dont have any idea of how it works, but it does. Love it!

I have an outside kitty that was left by the previous owners of my home. Every year we fight to keep nasty ants out of his food! This is the perfect solution!! It’s so simple…just a plastic disc you sit the food bowl on, but it is flipping genius!!! When the ants climb onto it, the only way up is through the groove in the disc. There they get trapped in a maze and can never get to the food!! I am really hopeful that this works. Poor Goldie needs safe and ant free food to eat!

To be honest, I was skeptical when I ordered tray. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve had several ant infestations, but they never ever got to any cat food that was on the tray. The only two things that you have to be vigilant about is to check for any food that fell off the tray, and that the tray doesn’t touch anything that ants can climb. Other than that the tray works like a charm. No more moats or other contraptions necessary. Love it!
