This item was an advice from my friend who is into only herbal healing. He recommended me this for quick recovery from that awful modern disease. I was well witting 3-5 days I drank the whole recommended course for those but honestly feel like I should have went longer to rebuild immune system better. Will definitely recommend to others as help for cough, cold and glue etc. Stay well and take care of your immune system.

Helps me keep healthy all winter long

A friend recommended this product, but after taking it, I kept burping up a gross taste all day. I don’t know if it’s helping or not, but the fact that the herbs and supplement taste, so disgusting burping it up, I won’t be taking any more. Plus, the pills are very large.

Yes, the tablets stink to high heaven. Yes, they are ginormous and can be difficult to swallow. But youll eventually get used to both those things because it will be well worth the inconvenience. Ive taken these for the past 4-ish years--first using only for imbalance and now, for the last year or so, daily as a preventative as well. I cannot honestly remember the last time Ive had even a full blown cold, even when my husband (who works in a school) and child (who attends one, lol) are scattering their gross winter germs everywhere. First sign of a sniffle, achiness, or other cold or flu symptom and I start the imbalance schedule. Invariably, and usually within 12-18 hours, Im feeling completely normal. We have had similar results with the drops for children, although they seem to take a little longer to work, usually a couple of days. Unfortunately, my 11 year old cannot yet swallow even the smaller caplets, let alone the horse-sized tablets. My husband cant get over the smell, so wont take them unless hes truly at wits end. Ive been taking them for so long now that the smell hardly registers with me anymore, but it certainly does take time to get used to it. But totally worth it.

I stumbled upon this magical pills about a year ago, after looking through a lot of reviews and trying to find something to help my daughter, who at the time, had a performance and needed to get over her illness. Back then she had strep throat and this brought her energy back within a day. Now, whenever she feels a tickle of anything, she will take it, immediately, as that is when it works best. In the past year, she has not been sick, like she normally would be several times a year. Three times in the past year, she has felt something (congestion, usually) and takes 6 of these pills, twice a day, each time and it kicked whatever was brewing, out of her system in one day. (Normally, she gets bronchitis several times a year.) I have read that the tablets you only need to take 3 for a serving but since they are large and she has a sensitive gag reflex, we opted for the 6 serving size and they seem to work just fine. I wish they made it without soy, so that I could enjoy the benefits as well. My ever skeptical husband, also swears by this stuff.

Absolutely amazing. Every time I feel like I might be getting sick, I take a few of these and I dont get sick. They are great for your immune system!! I make sure to keep them on hand at all times.

I swear by these during sick season and all year round - they really do help! The capsules are easier to swallow than the tablets (you do need to take 4-6 per serving, as instructed, to get the health benefits) and there is a slight herbal taste that lingers, but nothing too intense. These are typically ~$10 cheaper than they are if you buy in-store at Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc.

On another site (iherb) I discovered that there are 2 different products called Wellness Formula. Although they both say Herbal Defense Complex, the newer one is titled Wellness Formula, With Andrographis and Propolis Extract. It contains NO echinacea according to the label ingredients displayed. For the other one, it says: This is the original version of Wellness Formula with Echinacea. For the new version with more Andrographis Extract instead of Echinacea. When you go to the company site, there is no such information. I gave this 4 stars only because I had to give stars, and I do like the original product, but I assumed echinacea to be a key ingredient. If it is not included in this product, then I dont know if I want it. Its too much trouble for me to try to determine whether 175 mg andrographis and no echinacea is as effective for me as 100 mg. andrographis and 360 mg or 270 mg echinacea, so I would rather go with the product I am familiar with. I have written to Source Naturals about the problem, but amazon needs to show the accurate ingredients on its products. There is no way to know whether Wellness Formula sold by other sellers on amazon is the same as this one. I have been using Wellness Formula for years and it works! It is my magic cure when Im run down, been traveling, exposed to sick people, or suffering from allergies. Ive tried lots and lots of immune boosters, and keep coming back to this one. Its legit. The only downside is that the pills are huge and dont taste very nice so you will want a chaser. But its worth it because they work very well. This seller has so far been reliable and selling authentic product. Totally recommend.
