Source Naturals Wellness Formula Bio-Aligned Vitamins & Herbal Defense for Immune System Support - Dietary Supplement & Immunity Booster - 120 Capsules

On another site (iherb) I discovered that there are 2 different products called Wellness Formula. Although they both say Herbal Defense Complex, the newer one is titled Wellness Formula, With Andrographis and Propolis Extract. It contains NO echinacea according to the label ingredients displayed. For the other one, it says: This is the original version of Wellness Formula with Echinacea. For the new version with more Andrographis Extract instead of Echinacea. When you go to the company site, there is no such information. I gave this 4 stars only because I had to give stars, and I do like the original product, but I assumed echinacea to be a key ingredient. If it is not included in this product, then I dont know if I want it. Its too much trouble for me to try to determine whether 175 mg andrographis and no echinacea is as effective for me as 100 mg. andrographis and 360 mg or 270 mg echinacea, so I would rather go with the product I am familiar with. I have written to Source Naturals about the problem, but amazon needs to show the accurate ingredients on its products. There is no way to know whether Wellness Formula sold by other sellers on amazon is the same as this one. Update: I just received this explanation from Source Naturals: Due to the unavailability of raw materials for our Wellness Formula, we sometimes had to make temporary and permanent changes to keep it in stock. We do everything possible to maintain the quality of our Wellness Formula while at the same time continuing to make it available to as many people as possible. Our Research and Development Department puts every effort into ensuring the quality of our Wellness Formula through the changes and strives to keep the formula as close to the original formula listed on the website as possible. Our Research and Development Department has stated that with the new reformulation of Wellness Formula, it now contains more plant extracts than before which results in higher amounts of beneficial phytochemicals. No ingredients providing benefits to immune functions were reduced in potency by switching from whole plants to extracts. Regarding the different labels, the reason you may be seeing different supplement information on various retailer websites is because they have not updated to the most current product label. A friend of mine recommended Wellness Formula to me years ago. She said she takes it at the first sign of not feeling well and it immediately keeps illness away. She was right. I take Vitamin D3 daily, but whenever I need a boost of extra vitamins, I take a couple Wellness Formula and it fixes whatever was wrong. I have not had a cold or virus of any kind since I found these miracle vitamins. I do not take them daily. At the first sign of illness, I take two and take another two later in the day, and maybe again the next day. But by then, I am fine again. I always have extra on hand to share with family and friends. This is the best stuff.

I use this product for better health

I first got this product at my local co-op upon a friends recommendation. The bottle held big tablets, very strong smelling of garlic and olive. At the beginning of Quarantine, I was exposed to some coughing people at work and I did come down with a slight cough and low grade fever and this product seemed to really help kick whatever virus it was. (I did not get tested for C-19). I wanted to make sure I had extra on hand so I ordered these. I was surprised to see they were capsules, not tablets. The capsules are MUCH easier to swallow and do have a similar aroma to the tablets, but not as strong. It does makes me wonder if this is truly the same product or a counterfeit. You do need to take two capsules to equal one of the tablets. I have tried the capsules but its difficult to assess if they are truly as potent as the tablets I purchased from my co-op.

I have had chest congestion and a productive cough and was feeling fine otherwise. I am surrounded by sick people (my kids nonstop coughs), and we have a trip coming up. I bought this on the night I suddenly felt way worse and had chills, body aches, sore throat, run down, post nasal drip, headaches.... So based on the high ratings and reviews, I bought on impulse. I must say the next morning after feeling the chills and ordering this, I did seem better except the cough. The chills etc were gone. Finally the next day (today) the bottle came. Bottle was sealed outside and in. It says take 6 caps per day for regular immune support or 6 every 3 hours for immune boost I suppose to knock out being sick. So I did take 6 at once and then I seemed to feel okay but 3 hours passed, I took 5. Now I have sore throat, post nasal drip, feel run down, headaches, body aches, and just awful, but no chills or feeling overwhelmed by being totally sick. More like I feel like my immune system got overstimulated and maybe this could be the Herx reaction when the germs die so quickly they flood the body with toxins and theres a feeling of feeling worse while actually the body is fighting the infection really hard and intense. Well thats what I hope is happening. Otherwise I went from feeling congested in my chest and coughing up phlegm all the time to feeling like Im really awful. But no fever or chills or as bad as that night that motivated me to buy this stuff. I was taking vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements when I got this, so I wont be taking those while taking this, as that would be too much. But I am on the fence if I should just switch back to my healthy supplementation before this or continue with this.... I didnt expect to feel worse, so I read all the bad reviews and no one mentioned it making them feel worse. In fact, I cant find anything other than it just being ineffective for some people and great for others. I think Ill pause on this and see how I feel in the morning. If I still feel bad, I may continue and see if it will knock it out fast. Last time I caught my kids cough, I had the same congestion and coughing up phlegm and no other symptoms (feeling otherwise normal) for 3 weeks! And I hoped this formulation would help it end quicker esp in time for our family vacation in a few days. So is it working and producing a Herx reaction? Or am I just coincidentally getting worse the same day as beginning to take this? I only took 11 capsules total today. Id be due for 6 more, but Ill pass on that and wait and see. Otherwise I dont notice any awful smell or stomach issues or heartburn like other reviews mentioned. But those were from 2018-2021 , so I hope things have changed since then. Ill update my review as I feel this out!

Ive been using this product now for over a year now. And it really works well. I dont take it all the time. But when I feel a cold or infection coming on. Ill take it for a week or so. And inevitably, Im feeling better within a day of taking it. From my post earlier this year, I was having a mild yet chronic upper respiratory infection the past few months. Three different rounds of different Antibiotics didnt touch it. I started taking these. And they did the trick. Whenever I start to feel like my bodies trying to fight off an infection, I start taking these again for a week or two. And the infection will disapear.

Even if you question whether a sore throat or a cold is coming in, start taking these right away. Take as often as the bottle says. For me, it will either stop the cold or whatever it is from manifesting itself l, or if I didn’t start taking it in time it seems to reduce the time I’m sick. I always have this on hand

What is this manufacturer doing with this formula? Why does the pill bottle and the capsule bottle look exactly the same, but have different ingredients??? Are you trying to save money by taking less of Milligrams out? If so we are watching and you will lose long time customers. Get it together, stop this!

Great product! my sister told me about these, I bought them for my 20 year old and 18 year old young adults. Really help fight cold symptoms ! They were happy with the results.
