> 24 hourThis product was perfect for me. Obviously a hook in the ceiling is much cheaper, but buying 6 of these for my whole family is worth the house tour when I show guests my garage. I saved money by buying the used option, the racks came in perfect condition, only the packaging was marred, which was ideal for me.

> 24 hourI looked into MANY other bike racks before I purchased the Steadyracks. These were the only ones I found that swivel and help save space and make it very easy to access the bikes. I needed something like this because my shed is 10 wide and my service door is directly in the middle (see picture). If I had a stationary rack the bikes would have stuck out into the middle of the doorway. I could have opted for something that I could hang the bikes on the wall above each other, but then I would have to pick up the entire bike and hoist it up 4 to get above the bike on the floor level, which is fine for me but not the other people in the household. Plus, I dont have enough wallspace to do that for four bikes. The Steadyrack solved all of my problems and make it super easy to access each bike by just swinging them a little to access the bike I need. (PS, please dont judge me by the messyness of my shed, LOL)

> 24 hourI researched wall mount bike racks for days before settling on the Steadyrack. I have a 224” wide garage that has to fit two cars (total width of cars 155”) and 3 bikes (bike max width 25”) so I needed a space-saving solution. The reviews here said this rack was great for saving space so I bought the fat rack for my ebike, the mountain for my mtb, and the fender rack for my wife’s bike. I mounted the fat rack first. Installation was fairly simple. There’s a video from the company on YouTube. The problem is that once installed and I put my ebike on the rack, the angle that it moved to the side was absolutely unacceptable. It was roughly 25 degrees off the wall!!! Meaning my handlebar edge was now 36” off from the wall! Cmon, I’m not expecting 180 degree flat but this is unacceptable. I cannot have my handlebar stick out 36”. I took the rack off and bought some simple hooks and now my bikes’ max width sticking out is 25”. This is not a space saving solution. At $90, it has to be much better than a simpler solution and it’s not. Returned all 3.

> 24 hourWe recently moved into a new home, and I was looking for a way to efficiently store our familys six bicycles and get them off the garage floor. I spent several weeks reviewing the different systems out there but was surprised to find that not one of the typical racks or suspension systems fit in a way I wanted. On a lark, my wife googled bike storage systems or some such title and ran across a picture of this system. We dug into it further and were initially quite interested. But, never having seen or heard of it, I was a little skeptical. We kept researching, however, and found this product on Amazon. (Note: it did not come up in a SINGLE search of bike storage systems I put into the Amazon search window. When we found an article about it online, we clicked on a link to where one could purchase the product, which took us to Amazon. Subsequent Amazon searches for this product during the our research phase were fruitless unless we went BACK to the article or put the EXACT product name in the search window.) After reading the other reviews and considering the relatively reasonable price, we decided to jump in with both feet and ordered six. I could not have been more pleased! The product construction is solid and the mounting screws are incredibly substantial. (I mounted all of mine into studs to ensure that they were sturdy enough not to pull out of the wall.) In the end, the product works as advertised, and I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED. If faced with the same circumstance again, I would order these again in a heartbeat. (Note: Somewhere along the way, I read a review in which the reviewer stated that s/he mounted the racks on every other stud to allow ample room to articulate all the bikes on the row. I considered placing them closer together to preserve wall space but immediately recognized the wisdom of placing them a bit further apart. It does take up more wall space, but mounting them on an every-other-stud basis maximizes the effectiveness of this rack.)

> 24 hourI have a small garage and this product will help me keep floor space and it should be easy to store the bike without having to lift it up onto something. Just wheel it up on the back wheel. It’s winter here in Wisconsin so my brother and I installed it and we wheeled the bike in place hence the bike won’t be used for a few months so I can’t give a 100% testimony of the racks functioning but I like it so far. So far so good!

> 24 hourI bought a Fat rack and a Classic rack through Amazon Warehouse. One of the racks shipped without the mounting hardware but I had similar bolts on hand and used those. I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they said they would ship out the hardware to me asap. These racks are fantastic. Loading the bikes into the racks is so easy, and it keeps the bikes out of the way. My fatbike is 30# with 3.8 width summer tires and the bike fits securely. I have 4.5 width winter studded tires that the rack would appear to take but I wont know for sure until I switch tires again. Mounting the rack was fairly easy although I did watch a few YouTube videos first. The brace for the rear wheel is obviously too narrow for the tire to sit in, but it does hold the bike steady when you pivot the rack to the side. I am now looking to buy the MTB version. The rack is expensive but if you can get it on sale it helps the emotional damage. Overall its worth it. Edited 12Jul21 - The 4.5 studded tires do fit - anything larger would not. Still very happy with the purchase

> 24 hourThis is a great bike rack, I love the hinge so I can push the hanging bike side-to-side, and I like that the rack folds up when not in use. Its quite easy to install, but instructions could be more clear. There are some paper installation instructions included. As a purchaser in the US these contained measurements mostly in inches, also mentioning metric equivalent. Steady rack also has an installation page on their website (/pages/installation), which is better, all in metric. And from that page you can download an installation manual PDF, also metric, which seems to be the most detailed. There are slight differences between all three, however, and I ended up reading through all of them more than once. Some of the instructions called for a 10 mm drill bit to drill pilot holes. Some simply stated use a drill bit smaller than the screw size. None of the instructions told me the screw size. I eyeballed it and used a 15/64 drill bit. I think 10 mm would have been too wide. One slightly weird thing is that amongst the bits and pieces they provide are two rubber tips. They are only listed in one of the three forms of instructions, and it didnt even say what they are for. Overall Im very happy with the product, just wish the instructions were a bit better. Despite this, I was able to figure it out and install four of these without an issue, and am very happy about my new and improved bike storage!

> 24 hourFits my Fat E-Bike tires (except*) and I am able to pivot the bike out of the way so I can pull the car into the garage. This bike mount appears to be beefy, so it can hold up my heavy electric mountain bike. I highly recommend following the directions and put those lag bolts into the wall studs directly or suffer the consequences. I used two 1x6 boards mounted into the wall studs on each end, with the bike rack screwed into those boards, using the supplied lag bolts. *(Exception: that plastic pivot piece for the rear tire, ahem, does NOT fit a fat tire. It’s not even close. See pic. I don’t know what the manufacturer was thinking by including that obviously narrow rear pivot mount. I didn’t bother to install it since it’s worthless.). I gave this mount 4 stars because of that narrow rear tire pivot piece. That plastic piece is a major disappointment for what appears to be an otherwise great product.

> 24 hourLike many cyclists, I own more than one bike. I only recently added a new road bike to the family and needed an easy way to hang it in a limited space. I liked what I had read about the rack, so decided to give it a go. I am far from being a handyman, so anything that requires measurement intimidates me. The instructions are clear as to what tools you need, but I did get a bit confused trying match the correct drill bit- when I looked the recommended bit, it looked way too small. Anyway, once I figured that part out, the rest was easy. Once the holes were drilled, it took less than 30 minutes to complete. I did have the benefit of being to hang it on a stud, which I think made it easier. It does seem sturdy and I am happy to have my new bike on it. Would I recommend this rack? Absolutely, even if you’re not the handiest around the house.
