> 3 dayI own several Swanson products and have owned for many years, this is just my newest tool of theirs. Ill be using this Savage 72 Straight Edge for woodworking, so its important that its flat and straight (within tolerance). Its very flat and very straight. Its also in-expensive so for a beginner like myself I like that I can go to a company like Swanson and pick up several good quality items without breaking the bank. Secondly and probably most important is the customer service. I reached out asking a question about the 72 Savage and the company reached out to me. They answered all my questions timely and made sure as a customer, I was happy.

> 3 dayA must have tool with multiple applications, especially as a jigsaw guide to cut perfectly straight fine cuts in plywood when using special plywood cutting blades and clamps.

> 3 dayI cant say how accurate this straight edge, but its straight enough for everything I do. I chose this one because of the price and the design. The angled aluminum gives more options for using the tool to check for alignment and stiffens the tool.

> 3 dayI dont know where this has been all my life. No more cuts from trimming vinyl and having the blade jump up. Nice solid build quality. Can double as a weapon if someone breaks in. My fingers are happy :)
