This is really a great tool for cutting 4 mil clear acetate for book covers on a self healing mat, without the worry of the blade slipping and slicing fingers. Very happy with this and it is truly straight.

We use this in our small sign and graphics shop. We got the 36 version. Its a great improvement over our traditional rulers and straight edges. Has a grip on the bottom so your materials dont move when cutting. Made of aluminum. Worth every penny, will be purchasing more

really like this straight edge ! accurate , straight and easy to read. love the non-slip backing on it , when you push down it flattens out and does not slip making it great for marking or scribing a long distance when you are leaning over a panel . like i said , wish i would have always had one !! now i am trying to find a nice case for it to protect it.

idk what you call it but the attached black thing on top is impossible to remove.

The ruler itself is well built and accurate. But for me the numbers and hash marks are very hard to read. If you have direct light on it, it is a lot better. But in my shop, I dont always have perfect light. Is it worth the money? I say yes, for $8.00 you cant go wrong. At least it makes a good straight edge
