The West Wing

Season 4 was the last year of sharp, incisive writing and dialogue. It also was the last year of Rob Lowe being in the cast.

In my opinion, this is one of the most well-written dramas in television history. Great stories. Wonderful action. Five starts, no question.

According to the promotional material we are supposed to have the following on disc 6. At least the first three. In the packaging there is no mention of the season wrap party. However none of this is on the disc. We only have the Commnetaries to Commencement and Twenty-five Will an additional disc 6 be sent out? Or a corrected one?

I am sick to death of all these elitist purists who believe that The West Wings sun rose (and set) with the presence (or absence) of Aaron Sorkin. Were the 1st 4 seasons (under Sorkins influence) pure genius? Of course -- no question. Was Season 4 outstanding? Yes. But that is no reason to trash what came after. Season 5 had its weakneses, to be sure -- but there pere plenty of triumphs as well. And even the Sorkin-snobs will agree that Season 6 is proving to be the grittiest, leanest-and-meanest, funnest season of all. So please -- buy Season 4. But also buy (and NBC -- please release) subsequent seasons as well. It didnt end with the departure of Sorkin, folks!!

One of the best shows every put on TV. Cant get enough of it. Once a year I go back through and re-watch all the seasons. What a great show it was!

The West Wing is without a doubt one of the greatest TV shows ever made. Their fourth season continues to deliver powerful stories with fully believable characters. A wonderful mix of drama, humor, and political commentary. If youve never seen it, you are missing out.

All of these are very good, some are great. Wish they would do a remake of this quality, but its probably not possible.

The show just keeps getting better and as the characters develop you are interested in them as much as the storylines. Great acting, great stories and this keeps you watching.
