This 4th season is the continuation of a wonderfully powerful writing mind, who understands the complexities of the viewer and is able to weave together a harmony of comedy, drama and intellectual intrigue. We see the President working hard to ensure victory in his re-election campaign, Sam Seabornes departure into politics and Will Baileys assimilation into the family; the Emmy-nominated Matthew Perry showed a shockingly different persona then what audiences became accustomed to in his Friends series: engaging and intelligent, able to maintain a stance of dignity while still portraying his accustomed brand of sarcastic humor and then the seasons finale with the kidnapping of the first daughter.
