> 3 dayThe West Wing is still one of my favorite TV series. That and M*A*S*H and Downton Abbey. This is probably my third time through the entire series. Sometimes I get angry, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry, sometimes I am amazed at the politics. But I am always entertained.

> 3 dayI love this show! A lot of the episodes portray what seems very realistic. I was a bit surprised though that Zoey was kidnapped! That was a little tougher for me to believe; but I guess anything can happen these days.

> 3 dayI just love The West Wing. I now have the entire series and I guess I will never tire of it. One of the very best US dramas.

> 3 dayThe series is fast paced, intelligent. May not appeal to an ignorant GOP, but for those who have an open mind about government it’s very entertaining.

Greater than one week`The West Wing: Season Four, despite the exceptional end of series cliff hanger, is where things started to go off the boil for this long running series. But, because the previous standard was so high, even when things go off the boil this still makes for compelling viewing. This series follows the latter stages of the Presidential campaign and inauguration, Sam Seaborn leaves to run for office in California, troops are sent in to quell a Kundunese (an African nation) genocide, some marines are captured and need to be rescued, there is industrial whistle-blowing, a friendly fire incident, another administration scandal and the aforementioned end of series cliff hanger. This series focuses more on long running storylines, rather than the individual stories for each episode and it loses some of its spark as a result. The snappy, intelligent language is still there and the political manoeuvrings are just as impressive, but because the series focuses on long running themes it seems to have lost some of its fire and immediacy. Everyone acts to the high standards this series became known for, the writing is still top class and there are real episode highlights throughout the series and if you enjoy the previous series then this will interest you and keep you engaged. Despite my earlier reservations this still manages to be very impressive TV!

> 3 daySeriously! The West Wing is smart, funny, and very insightful! Amazing how close to the reality of our government today that it is! Same petty issues between the liberals and conservatives.
