Very easy to install and looks awesome!! Ive never installed anything like this before in my life and had no trouble at all!

Our cast iron hook broke soon after it was installed. I ordered this Tibres latch and it is sturdy metal and looks good too. Its strong and the door stays locked when you want it locked.

I bought this for my backyard double 6’ wooden gate on my driveway. The landscapers continue to break the locks I have on the gate, so I opted to try the sliding barn door latch lock. Had it installed a few weeks ago, holding very well. Where I live we occasionally get Highwinds, and was worried the gates would blow open, but so far so good. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I reordered this, thinking I get a hook matching the same as ordered in May 2017. This hook was a bit cheaper, and thinner, less sturdy. I think it will do the job, but be cautious using Amazons order again -- you may not get what you expect.
