> 3 dayI do a lot of embroiderary and appliqué! I have have a broad assortment of tiny, sharp, pointed scissors at my disposal! But, not one of them is suitable for trimming the tiny places around my tiny, active Bichon puppy because of their sharp points. I purchased the scissors because they were so reasonably priced, but, frankly, I didnt expect much. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped my pair of scissors! They have a nice heft to them and the tiny serrations are just like the ones on my tiny, very expensive embroidary scissors. Those tiny serrations make a big difference! My pair of scissors have a tiny black bumper which make the cuts virtually silent! And, they have those nicely rounded points that are far less likely to harm a squirming pup! I am wondering if Scaredy Cut would be willing to tackle a super product for safely removing those tiny hairs in the delicate ears? Hint! Hint?

> 3 dayThe little black nubby thing that cushions the closing immediately fell off so I rated only 4 stars but the scissors are sharp enough to cut my Maine Coons mats, and they are small enough to not scare him; I can sneak a few snips in before he is aware and freaks out. I like that they have rounded ends that wont hurt my cat. They do a good job and I recommend them for safely cutting out very matted kitty hair.

> 3 dayI love these scissors! I have a little furry dog who doesnt enjoy grooming at all and gets lot of knots and tangles and picks up every stray branch and leaf in a 5 mile radius. She gets wiggly while grooming and I was constantly worried about cutting her especially when working around her face and ears (long floppy ears!). I gave her a knick once and spent the next 30 minutes feeding her treats because I felt so terrible. Im obviously still very careful when using these scissors, but the ball-tipped ends make me feel a bit safer (and so far I havent cut her!). Theyre also small enough to navigate around her furry, wiggly body and sharp so one cut is all it takes. No pulling, trying to get through the knot several times etc. Awesome all around.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed to trim my Cavalier King Charles puppys under-paw hair. She was a little apprehensive at first and squirmed but eventually she got comfortable and actually fell asleep while I was trimming the hair. The rounded tip makes me really feel safe like I wont hurt her even if she squirms or moves a bit. At the same time the blades are sharp enough that they cut through her fine fur the first time and I dont need to go back again on the same spots, making the process quick for me and for her. I will be using these scissors for trims probably the rest of her life and love them so much!

24-11-2024I’ve been using it to trim around my Maltese’s eyes. Her long hair is always blocking her eyes despite going to regular grooming.

> 3 dayReview update: In my first review of this item I had ordered the small grooming scissors and did not have a good experience using them. See original review. To my pleasant surprise I received a new pair from the seller without even asking! Plus, an additional large pair to try out enclosed with a nice letter. The new pair did work better than the first. The customer service experience has been above and beyond. I am increasing the rating from 3 to 4 stars but I’d give the seller 5 stars. The reason for 4 is there are higher quality scissors for grooming these are an excellent value for the price. If you are an occasional at home groomer these will do the job. If you groom professionally you might look at other professional level tools. Works for me! Original review: OK scissors. Not very sharp and the small handle is not easy to maneuver. They seem cheaply made. I’d have paid more for a higher quality. I use them to trim around the rear area of my toy breed. The size is nice for precision. You will need larger scissors for any substantial cutting of fur in straight lines.

> 3 dayPerfect product for my needs. My furry cat formed many knots on the abdominal and butt area. Because it used to be a non-adoptable cat and only got use to me after few months, I called a mobile grooming service, but they were unable to catch the cat :)) in my apartment in order to get her to the grooming car. I searched for solutions online, saw your product on Amazon and decided to buy it praying I will be able to do the grooming myself. When my cat was next to me for one of her petting sessions I used the Tiny Trim and cut all the fur knots. She is usually a scaredy cat, but apparently did not feel anything unpleasant while i was going around her and cutting the knots. This product is not only totally painless, but it seems that my cat enjoyed it while I was grooming her. Thank you very much Scaredy Cut. I have also purchased your brush and I use it daily on Mitzi. She turns around to get brushed all over. I will prevent her to get new fur knots, but even if that happens, I got the Tiny Trim :)
