Update May 25, 2017 So I was quite surprised to find a package from scaredy cut in the mail today, and I wasnt sure what to expect. But the box was big enough that I thought it might be something like scissor sharpener or something. I was delighted to see not only a full size pair of their shears, but a check for a full refund on this item and their clipper set that I had bought. I had opted not to receive a refund because sometimes its just too much of a hassle. So for the company to send me an unbidden refund check, was surprising and refreshing. I appreciate a company that stands behind their product. So 5 star review is for their stellar customer service, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the desire to improve their product based on customer insight. These scissors are sharp and pretty decent. However, the pad that is supposed to prevent the handles from clicking popped off the first time I opened it. When I finally found that tiny little piece on the carpet, I put it back in only to have it fall out again, and this time I havent been able to find it. Id give these scissors 5 if they successfully delivered what they promised.

The TINY TRIM ground scissors are WONDERFUL! Ok first of all, I do not leave feedback often (unless a product is amazing or less than desirable). I have a 2.8lb Yorkie with severe KCS (dry eye). She has to have eye drops followed by artificial tear ointment three times per day so it is very important that the hair around her eyes stay trimmed. When she was a puppy she slept so soundly I could trim with no problem; however, since shes turned a year old that isnt the case. Lately, I have had to wait til she is groomed and even then, her hair is not trimmed as nearly as I would like. I received the Scaredy Cut Tiny Trim scissors today and this evening before I have her I trimmed the mess around her eyes...it was quick and easy and the best part was I did not have to worry! AWESOME product! Thank you so much!

Really like these scissors as they are sharp and cut fur really well. After having them for some time, had an issue with the tension screw and seller was quick to respond and replace the scissors. Great product and seller!

I love the Tiny Trim Scaredy Cut! Even more important my little dog loves them also. I have an almost 6 lb Yorkie and he very much dislikes grooming clippers. I guess to him they are very big and noisy. I decided to try these scissors and they work so well. They fit my hand easily and cut his hair with no pulling or dullness of the blade edge. I cut his hair barber shop style using a comb to back comb his up and clipped his hair close to the comb. It came out even all over and he was so much happier without the noise. I was able to get to all the tight spots without worrying about poking him with sharp pointed scissors. I plan to groom him this way from now on and Im going to get rid of the clippers.

This is a nice scissor for cutting out knots and mats in our cats fur. Just the right size and length. The one that we received was very sharp and has a micro serrated edge like good quality human hair cutting scissors. The small rubber bumper on the handle did fall off but a bit of super glue reattached it. This is a vital tool for the grooming of our long haired kitty.

If I could, I would give 5 stars for this company’s customer service but unfortunately at this point, i can’t for the product. I was very pleased with the scissors at the beginning but after a couple of groomings, they became very loose and it would not let me tighten it enough. I contacted the company and they immediately sent out a second pair. These had a tiny washer with the screw which kept them tighter but after a few snips, the very first time I used them, they would get looser and looser and I kept having to tighten them, which is very annoying and time consuming. They also did not seem as sharp as the first pair did initially. The hair would “fold” into the scissors. I don’t know if it’s hit or miss with these scissors. I will be contacting the company again and try for a third pair and see if the third time is the charm. If it is, I will update this review. UPDATE: I was mailed not one, but two new scissors, free of charge and once again, I cannot say enough about this company’s outstanding customer service. This time one of the scissors worked very well and the other one worked well (not as good as the other one but still good). I am happy with this purchase since I groom my six Havanese myself and need a great pair of scissors. I have purchased other brands and these are the best (once I got a good pair) so these are the ones I use constantly. Thank you Scaredy Cut, for caring enough to keep trying until it was right! Five stars + for customer service!

What a GOD-SEND these sissors are! our cat runs and hides when she sees sissors although we have never harmed her or pulled at her hair. The reason they work is because they are silent and nice and sharp yet have a round tip so they will not hurt or cut skin. Imagine my surprise when I was cutting out six knots (she has thick long fur) when she actually sat there and let me! She did get annoyed after a while so I waited for a second session to finish off the knots real close to her skin. Dare I say she seemed greatful to be free of knots? She is age 13 and never had a problem with grooming until two years ago. We brush her frequently so I dont understand how she got the knots in the first place. She is such a scardy cat she is even afraid of ceiling fans so you can imagine how happy and surprised we are with the results. Next we will get the silent trimmer. Thank you to the makers of this product. Well done.

I have a Shih Tzu and need to trim his face regularly. These scissors are perfect. I can maneuver them into the right folds of his little face, and they feel secure in my hand. They replaced an older pair. At first I was scared because theyre larger than the old ones, but now I love them. Theyre easier to maneuver and hold because of the size. And they cut the hair on the first pass, speeding up the process.

It was such a pleasure to use these ball-tipped scissors to trim the fur on my poodle! I was using my husbands beard trimming scissors (dont worry, he hadnt had a beard in over 5 years) but I was always so worried Id end up poking my poor little dogs eyes! I saw these Scardy Cut pet scissors for a very reasonable price (half the cost of the ones in the pet store) and thought Id order them. Im glad I did. They came nice and sharp, cut through thick poodle fur without tugging and the tips were much safer than the pointy tip scissors I was using. I used them for the fur around the face and between the paws. I highly recommend anyone who cuts their pets fur to order a pair of these ball-tip scissors, for the safety of your pet. Overall, Im very happy with this product and think its a good value.
