Tiny Trim 4.5 Ball-Tipped Scissor for Dog, Cat and all Pet Grooming - Ear, Nose, Face & Paw - Scaredy Cuts small Safety Scissor

I bought this and thought product was just not sharp as it wouldnt cut nicely after just about 5 uses. Well, this company sent me a new pair after reading my 1 star review i posted of how unsatisfied i was. I received my new pair and indeed proved that i just received a broken pair the first time. Have been meaning to change my review for a while now but kept forgetting. Today, almost about a year after receiving a new pair, i received a letter from the company (Scaredy cut) in regards to the new replacement i got. holly @#$^ i said. they still want me to change that review (giggled and went straight to my computer). All in all, just want to let you all know that this company is serious about you being 100% happy with the purchase. Its hard to find with people that actually cares about customer satisfaction, so buy with confidece.

My rescue dog - a chow and golden retriever mix - has super sensitive skin and is skittish and easily scared. The groomer had to muzzle her because she snapped, so I decided to try grooming her myself. I bought a ton of different tools and tried them all - this was the hands-down winner (and the least expensive!) and is the only thing I use now other than a standard brush. Its small and takes a while, but the blades are really effective - I trim around her ears, her entire tummy, backs of all four legs, and thin out her tail a bit (we walk on the trails a lot and she was picking up dirt, burs, ticks, etc.) She remains very relaxed when I groom her with these little scissors, and I dont have to worry about accidentally hurting her. The blades were very tight when the scissors arrived, but I had read in a review that they might might need to be adjusted with a screwdriver. This just took a moment to do, and then they were perfect. Confession: I rinsed them off and used them to trim my bangs - they worked great!

I thought a sender sent me the wrong colors and there was a price difference. The correct scissors came in the correct colors from this seller. I apologize. These scissors are great. I already had a pair like this and it’s the best scissors for trimming my dogs face and ears etc Scaredy Cut is the brand. I recommend these for dogs or cats. Five stars. I had also ordered two cheap scissors for everyday things. They were from a different seller. It’s was what I ordered. I am so sorry. Please order these scissors for your pet.

I am very grateful to this company for its prompt replacement when I had a problem with my purchase. Not only did the company respond in a timely manner but the communication and commitment to their customers is second to none. My integrity was not questioned and a replacement was delivered to me straight away. I have NEVER seen or heard of a company that communicates without delay and fixes any problems in an extremely timely manner. I give this product 5 big stars the scissor is very sharp and does not pull or tug on your pets hair. I will not support anyone that gives these scissors anything but 5 stars. They are exactly as the description states. Now if they are broken or damage in any way I can understand lower stars. Things happen in shipping that is out of a companies control. Perhaps a 4 star feedback for the inconvenience of the problem. But how can anyone honestly give a product a feedback score lower than a 4 as long as the company selling the product replaces the item in a timely manner without hesitation and communicates without delay? To me this is dishonest and unfair and I myself highly find it unfair to give low feedback to a company that stands behind its products. I recommend these scissors for grooming both animals and humans as well. They are sharp, sturdy, and actually very attractive. All things show wear in time but as long as they perform in satisfactory condition and begin to show NORMAL wear like scratches etc. - be honest with yourself and do the right thing and that is 5 VERY BIG *S*T*A*R*S for feedback is the only way to go. And lets face it wear means they are being used and that is what you purchased them for not to be showcased. I choose to think of wear as positive character. GREAT COMPANY!!!

I love these scissors. My dogs grow fur in between their toes (papillons). This makes them slip and slide on smooth surfaces. These scissors make it easy to trim the fur on the bottom of their feet. I dont have to worry so much about poking them or even accidentally nicking them. I tried an electric little trimmer and it works but they are scared of it and this is so much more efficient and less work. Only bad news is I misplaced these scissors. I will buy another pair if the old ones dont show up. Edited to add: Turns out my mom stole my pair to cut her own hair because it works better than our human hair cutting scissors. She won’t give it back because it works so well. So I guess I recommend this for anyone looking for a sharp pair of scissors, not just dog owners. I will be buying another pair for my dogs. Also I’m very glad they come in different colors so we can differentiate between the human and dog pair. Especially since I might use the dog pair to do a sanitary trim.

Great, easy to use

If I could, I would give 5 stars for this company’s customer service but unfortunately at this point, i can’t for the product. I was very pleased with the scissors at the beginning but after a couple of groomings, they became very loose and it would not let me tighten it enough. I contacted the company and they immediately sent out a second pair. These had a tiny washer with the screw which kept them tighter but after a few snips, the very first time I used them, they would get looser and looser and I kept having to tighten them, which is very annoying and time consuming. They also did not seem as sharp as the first pair did initially. The hair would “fold” into the scissors. I don’t know if it’s hit or miss with these scissors. I will be contacting the company again and try for a third pair and see if the third time is the charm. If it is, I will update this review. UPDATE: I was mailed not one, but two new scissors, free of charge and once again, I cannot say enough about this company’s outstanding customer service. This time one of the scissors worked very well and the other one worked well (not as good as the other one but still good). I am happy with this purchase since I groom my six Havanese myself and need a great pair of scissors. I have purchased other brands and these are the best (once I got a good pair) so these are the ones I use constantly. Thank you Scaredy Cut, for caring enough to keep trying until it was right! Five stars + for customer service!

Pros: Affordable Great size for small dogs Great customer service Con: Not as sharp as I wanted but that can be fixed with a sharpener which is an expense you would not expect with brand new scissors. Probably defective. Update: After writing this review initially, I was contacted immediately by scardycut who offered me a refund and let me keep the defective scissors. I was surprised that they would give me a full refund for something that isnt that expensive, that just lets you know how good their customer service is. They also promised to send me a replacement which never arrived but I wasnt concerned since after the refund I thought it wasnt really necessary. Recently I received and e-mail asking about my experience with the replacement that never arrived. I honestly just ignored it since well I wasnt really expecting them. I just received the replacement in the mail and tested them on my miniature poodle and work great, the last ones where probably defective.

I bought these scissors to help trim a long-haired cat who, even though shes quite fastidious with bathing, has fur thats prone to small knots. Shes also sometimes quite sensitive to being handled. I wanted a trimmer that couldnt easily poke her, but also made it easy to remove a knot. The handle is comfortable, and I have huge hands. My wife, who has small hands, also finds them comfortable. With the blunt tip, no worries about poking a cat (they have really thin skin, so a cut can be quite dangerous). Theyre also a good shape for getting in there and trimming safely. This with a nine-pound cat who seems to be about half fur.

The scissors are sharp bladed but because the ends are very blunted. I always shield my pets eyes with my fingers while cutting her bangs and whiskers because she wiggles in protest to getting her face trimmed. The hair is cut very quickly by the razor sharp blades and I dont worry poking her with the tips because they are very wide and well rounded. I havent been cut by the scissors and feel confident using them.
