Tiny Trim 4.5 Ball-Tipped Scissor for Dog, Cat and all Pet Grooming - Ear, Nose, Face & Paw - Scaredy Cuts small Safety Scissor

Okay, so I discovered one issue about my new scissors-- the tip does not cut well at all. It looks like there is a small space between the scissors at the last 1/2 inch of the tip. I tried my defected scissors, and that one actually cuts through all the way. Not too much to complain about since I have that one to fall back on, despite my initial disappointment. Either way, great scissors, and excellent service. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I first received this trimmer two days ago, and apparently was sent a defected one. I left a review about it yesterday, and was contacted IMMEDIATELY (wow!). After being contacted, they made good by sending me another one right away. When I mean right away, I mean, I checked my mail this morning and there was a box with Tiny Trim in it! I had just e-mailed them yesterday, so Matthew, who I believe is their representative did an amazing job of easing any stress or issues that I had. As far as the scissors go, as soon as I received it, I gave it quick go with my little doggie. I did a small trim around her eyes and under her paws. I just wanted to try it out, and I cant be happier. The serrated edges truly make a difference from any other scissors Ive bought for my dog. Yes, it is small, and you might have a difficult time using it if your fingers are the size of a jumbo hot dog, but it works absolutely great. It didnt tear at my dogs fur, but gripped it as it cut it, which is very helpful when you need to make the right cut around the eyes or paws. This is a must have addition for your dogs grooming supplies. It doesnt even cost that much, and you have nothing to lose because customer service is speedy and effective! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Below is my previous review: I havent used my trimmer yet, but as soon as I saw it, I realized that it looks like its in terrible condition. The pink paint looks like someone painted it on with nail polish, then got it on the steel part of the scissors. Part of the logo on the scissors have been scraped/rubbed off already. It looks like this belongs in a 2nds pile. I still havent used it. Im going to wait to see if I get contacted by anyone, because maybe theyre all in this condition?

Initial rating was 2 stars: I really want to like this scissors but can not: For all the 5 pairs of scissors Ive tried (all yellow color), they are all pulling hairs, instead of cutting, at the last 1/8 inches (~3 mm) of the scissors tip before finishing the cut! The micro-serrated blade somehow can not be fully closed/cut well at the tip, making trimming the eye hairs a hair-pulling torture! Not recommended! Update 1/25/2021: the ScaredyCut customer service send me two pairs of scissors to try again, and they cut perfectly! The micro-serrated blade is holding hairs and indeed a great feature. I would caution that there may have quality control issue, yet they got the best-in-class customer service to back it up. Revise rating from 2 to 4 stars.

These scissors are small, good for clipping around foot pads and eyes, however you have to be very careful with the tips. They dont cut, and the hair gets caught, so if you clip, then go to pull the scissors away, any hair that was grabbed by the blunt tips pulls and you dont have a happy dog! Not much else to say about them. I dont use them too frequently, finding my regular small scissors better able to do the job. EDIT: I got a comment from the seller that these are probably defective, and that they would send me a replacement, but it never came. I re-commented that they never came, but I got no response. Disappointed. EDIT#2: Well, it turns out they accidentally sent the replacement scissors to someone with the exact same name as me. They sent me a brand new pair that arrived this morning. Its Christmas Eve, and Im too busy to try them out right now, but Ill see how they are later on and report back. The Scaredy Cut people have amazingly good customer service!! I added another star for the service alone. Cant wait to try out the scissors. EDIT #3: Wonderful company and service! I tried out the scissors, and they are MUCH better than the first pair. These cut well and dont grab the hair at the tip. My dogs and I are very happy!

These are the best scissors I have ever used in my life! Snowball is a long-haired dog and grooming him has been a challenge since he was a puppy. After struggling for 7 YEARS and paying enormous grooming fees I decided to try to trim him myself. Mistake. Every pair of scissors I reached for hed run from me. Then I saw these on Amazon and was hesitant cause of the price (so inexpensive). I had purchased grooming scissors 3x the cost of these. I decided to try them anyway. No more grooming bills-I can cut his hair! He just sits or lies quietly and actually looks forward to the trimming. And with the rounded tip I dont panic that I am going to cut into his flesh when I trim the hair between his paws. The downsize: I only purchased one pair and misplaced them so today I placed an order for TWO. They stay sharp and the cutting is so soft. Hard to describe. But if you want scissors that will make your grooming times a breeze-BUY these and no others.

I originally posted before and I was not satisfied but this company made it right reached out to me and fix my issue. I am happy with the scissors they work great. They are better than any other Scissors I’ve ever had. I would recommend these for trimming your dog as I use it for my Shih Tzu around her face. They are sharp and lightweight and cut really great. I bought a pair many years ago and lost them but they stayed sharp until I lost them then I purchased this pair and these are still great.

The first pair I received werent very good, and I initially gave them a bad review. Then the customer service rep saw my poor review and took action. He sent me a replacement pair at no charge, and without me even asking him to. It turns out the first pair I got were simply defective. My second pair that I received work perfectly. I am a professional groomer, and use these scissors every single day, and on every single dog I see. They are very save, effective, and quiet. PERFECT for trimming the hair around the ear leather, and cleaning up paws. They are sharp enough to cut the hair and yet not enough to break the skin (I have gotten my fingers a few times and not once did they even leave a red mark). Not sure how thats possible, but it is. I am completely confident when using these scissors. I highly recommend them for any home or professional grooming.

This is the perfect sized scissors for trimming hard to reach areas (around the eyes, bridge of the nose, ears, feet, etc.). And, they open and shut smoothly when in use. This is my second pair. I keep one in the car and one inside the house. I highly recommend them!

Really like these scissors as they are sharp and cut fur really well. After having them for some time, had an issue with the tension screw and seller was quick to respond and replace the scissors. Great product and seller!

Easy to hold, Easy to use. I was leary to try to cut the hair around my poodles eyes. Im glad I tried, he lets me cut them with ease.

This is the first pair of grooming scissors that I had purchased. Theyre nice. I use them on the fur that grows between my Beagles paw pads. Sometimes they do not cut through the fur on the first pass, so occasionally I do have to repeatedly cut in the same spot to get through it. It could be due to the slight thickness of the fur at the time of trimming (I trim once or twice a month). I like the tips of each blade having the rounded ball edge to help avoid any unwanted sharp jabs or cuts. Yes, I would buy this product again.
