> 24 hourIm on my second one of these, and in both cases the USB-C port has stopped working after 2-3 months of use. The outlets and the USB-A port continue to work, but the USB-C port will not charge. I dont think Ill bother replacing this one now that its happened identically twice in a row.

> 24 hourThis thing is cool but it’s big. Install was tough because it’s bulky. Really struggled to cram it in, didn’t end up putting it where I wanted it because it didn’t fit, but found an alternate spot I like. Works well but a PITA to install.

> 24 hourI installed this in a bathroom remodel, in a new box right near the toilet. It was installed in a GFCI circuit. It was easy to install compared to a few similar wall chargers I’ve tried. Many of the wall boxes in my 1980s house have 2 or 3 pairs of wires, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for wall chargers or dimmer switches. This wall socket had terminals I could insert wires into rather than twisting another pair of wires together. I like that it has USB-C for newer devices and USB-A for backwards compatibility. Mine was the 30W charger and it seemed to provide fast charging as long as your cable is “fast-charge” capable, and you only charge one device at a time. If you charge two devices from the USB ports, they seem to drop back to slow charging. The USB-C port wouldn’t charge my laptop PC, despite the product description saying that it would, but I am sure it would need the 60W model to charge the laptop. This is one of the few wall socket/USB charger combos that are genuinely UL listed, which my insurance company would like. This is a good upgrade to an existing wall socket so you don’t have to plug in your own plug-in charger. But I do wonder if it has some “smarts” to turn off the charger electronics when nothing is plugged in, otherwise it would be using energy 24x7 when you could easily disconnect a plug-in charger.

> 24 hourEvery outlet in your kitchen and office should be replaced with one of these. Works great. The usb outlets charge an iPhone faster than a standard iPhone plug. Point to note: this plug is deeper than a standard electrical wall box so you might need to replace the electrical box that is currently in your wall

> 24 hour3-4 years ago, I bought Topgreener 2 USB-A with traditional 3-prong power sockets. Those USB-A ports are still working till today. So when I decided to look for a power socket that comes with both USB-A and USB-C ports, this becomes a natural choice. Reason for wanting a USB-C port is that newer devices are moving towards USB-C interface. I installed and replaced 2 of these. For one of them, it still protruded out a little as the space in that wall outlet is pretty tight. For the other unit, it flushed with the surrounding wall. Tested them and both USB-A and USB-C ports are functional. I have started migrating traditional wall sockets (with no USB ports) towards those that come with USB ports as most devices such as cell phones, tablets, etc are USB interface based.

> 24 hourThis outlet, although it met the specs of my home outlet and was installed properly, never worked and melted when I plugged in my Bose.
