> 3 dayThis can definitely crank out the rated power at 5V, but I have a dual-wireless charger that only operates at 9V via USB-C PD. The charger works fine when its the only thing plugged in, but both ports drop to 5V once even just a cable is plugged into the USB-A port. I have to remove both cables and re-insert the USB-C for the outlet to reset the voltage to 9V. I was excited about this outlet, as I was hoping to use much of its rated power to charge my devices, and I needed a 9V outlet to run this charger. Im going to return it and hope to find something better.

> 3 dayAwesome addition to our renovation. Good price Compared to in store. Still needed new wall plates to complete the install. Good product.

> 3 dayThis outlet takes the full width, height, and depth of a standard junction box, with barely room for wiring!. I had to strenuously insert the outlet into the junction box and, despite covering the contacts with electrical tape, I still managed to create a short circuit because the electrical tape was peeled off by the tight fit! I succeeded on the second try, but it was hairy. Presumably, the unit is large because it contains transformers -- understandable. Still, this made the installation far more time consuming and nerve wracking than Id expected.

> 3 dayIve been looking for some time for an outlet that supported USB-C/Thunderbolt charging and the additional USB-A port is useful too. I bought and installed 3 - no problems of any kind. Please note that these outlets have 3 terminal screws - 1 for black wire, 1 for white wire and 1 for ground wire. Two of my outlets were setup this way and were easy to replace. My 3rd outlet has 2 black, 2 white and 1 ground wire, so I ran a pigtail connection for the 2 black and 2 white wires to get them into one wire each to connect to the terminal screws. If you have an outlet with this configuration of 2 black, 2 white and 1 ground wire you must also run pigtail connections to the terminal screws or use the small holes in the back for 2 black and 2 white push through wire connections. As I did not use the push through connections at all, I cant comment on that. No issues of any kind getting these outlets to work on first try. I like these enough I may be another one or two in the future to add to my house. One outlet I have connected all the time to an Amazon Echo device and the outlet has worked fine, even allowing a USB charge connection while the Echo is plugged in. Note that these dont support Qualcomm Quick Charge, but I found the charging to be fast enough for my needs. And finally, if you are looking to replace an outlet where the top and bottom plug receptacles are on different circuit breakers, this device wont support that. That kind of setup is a bit unusual and shouldnt be found in most home setups.

> 3 dayWorks, but disappointed that the usb-c doesnt fast charge my phone. Also, the USB ports are impossible to use if you have something plugged in to the outlet.

Greater than one weekLikes: 1) it has a 30W Power Delivery USB-C port and 30W USB-A port (no PD). 2) the power wires are secured with clamp terminals that are designed to be easier to connect than standard clamp terminals. The Expected: When both ports are in use, the C port is limited to 15W and the A port is limited to 10W. These limits are in the spec and are necessary to keep the total power under 30W. Dislike: It appears that the 30W PD port gets knocked back to 15W even if a USB-A cord is simply plugged in, even if nothing is attached. This is NOT okay. Whats worse, it appears that you must unplug both the C and the A ports before the C port returns to 30W. The effect is a little more subtle as it seems like it only comes into play for certain USB-A cords... like maybe the outlet is sensing the impedance of the cord? What is really annoying is that the PD port doesnt reset to 30W until BOTH ports are unplugged. My outlet is installed behind some wall-mounted furniture so I need a type C and type A extension cable to access the ports... with this configuration, the 30W PD USB-C port essentially does not exist since I cannot unplug and replug cords to reset the PD port. Essentially I have two low power outputs. If you can access the outlet easily, then this quirk would not be a problem.

> 3 daySo I think this is super useful as a way to charge my phone, and/or Bluetooth speaker while still keeping an outlet available. For this particular one, I installed it in my garage and added a small shelf above it to put my phone on. Very happy with the outlet overall. The only difficulty is that it is very large and as such, was a tight fit in the electrical box in my house from the 1960s. If you have a newer house, it should be very easy.
