23-11-2024Every outlet in your kitchen and office should be replaced with one of these. Works great. The usb outlets charge an iPhone faster than a standard iPhone plug. Point to note: this plug is deeper than a standard electrical wall box so you might need to replace the electrical box that is currently in your wall

Greater than one weekWorks perfectly with my Pixel 2! The phone is not always say that its rapid charging but it the voltage tester app says other wise. And I just charged 25% in about 15 min. This wall outlet is worth the extra money!

> 3 dayThis can definitely crank out the rated power at 5V, but I have a dual-wireless charger that only operates at 9V via USB-C PD. The charger works fine when its the only thing plugged in, but both ports drop to 5V once even just a cable is plugged into the USB-A port. I have to remove both cables and re-insert the USB-C for the outlet to reset the voltage to 9V. I was excited about this outlet, as I was hoping to use much of its rated power to charge my devices, and I needed a 9V outlet to run this charger. Im going to return it and hope to find something better.

> 3 dayI installed this in a bathroom remodel, in a new box right near the toilet. It was installed in a GFCI circuit. It was easy to install compared to a few similar wall chargers I’ve tried. Many of the wall boxes in my 1980s house have 2 or 3 pairs of wires, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for wall chargers or dimmer switches. This wall socket had terminals I could insert wires into rather than twisting another pair of wires together. I like that it has USB-C for newer devices and USB-A for backwards compatibility. Mine was the 30W charger and it seemed to provide fast charging as long as your cable is “fast-charge” capable, and you only charge one device at a time. If you charge two devices from the USB ports, they seem to drop back to slow charging. The USB-C port wouldn’t charge my laptop PC, despite the product description saying that it would, but I am sure it would need the 60W model to charge the laptop. This is one of the few wall socket/USB charger combos that are genuinely UL listed, which my insurance company would like. This is a good upgrade to an existing wall socket so you don’t have to plug in your own plug-in charger. But I do wonder if it has some “smarts” to turn off the charger electronics when nothing is plugged in, otherwise it would be using energy 24x7 when you could easily disconnect a plug-in charger.

> 3 dayI was surprised the outlet did not come with a faceplate. Luckily I had one that worked. Otherwise seems to be working as advertised.

> 3 dayI got this for my home office. I like that it comes with both USB-A and USB-C ports. No need for a charging block. It was easy to install. I plan on getting a few more for around the house.
