> 3 daythis is my second one of these... my first one lasted 3 years of regular use, and would have lasted longer if i didnt set it on the floor to dry and if i hadnt destroyed the poor thing going out into a wind-storm to get a picture of a rainbow. oh well. im hoping to get 4 years out of this one, if i can remember not to set it on the floor for drying. this is the biggest canopy for the most compact umbrella that i could find. im 2m in height, and no other travel umbrella is worth it for me - i end up with a wet left arm, and soaked legs from the knees down. this opens into a proper golf-sized umbrella, but still manages to fold up and easily fit into my backpack. that being said, dont expect it to win any weight competitions... youll know youre carrying it. the little elastic wrist strap is kind of a joke, and i feel like the handle was a nicer rubber on the first one i had. but what can you do for under $30?

> 3 dayWhen my old umbrella died, I began to search for a replacement. After doing some research, I settled on this umbrella. It is exactly as described and it works well.

> 3 dayI usually use the golf umbrellas by Totes which are very sturdy with a big canopy, however I sometimes nee a more portable version which is why I tried this one. I find it very lightweight and handy, and while not as sturdy as the golf one, its sturdy enough.

> 3 dayGreat umbrella. Its small enough to throw into my purse when its closed but then big enough to cover two people when open.
