> 3 dayI only used these with the app, not the voice assistant option. Everything works well enough, and my only complaint with these is that they sometimes will randomly turn off. It happens with heavy draw and light draw equipment, and in different physical locations. It seemed to happen regardless if I swapped out the plugs. I have never used this kind of Internet of Things device before, so I dont know if that is just a feature of this type of tech. There is a setting in the app to tell the plug to resume the last state, and it will do that - its just a little disconcerting to be sitting there and the light goes out, comes back, goes out again and then comes back and stays on. We dont have any power or wi-fi issues that I am otherwise aware of, so not sure whats going on. I also did try resetting the power plugs per the instructions. The concept seems like a good one, and the equipment seems otherwise well made, so I am assuming I got a bad batch or I am doing it wrong, which is why I am only dinging it one star.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, they dont integrate directly to Alexa. They require a seperate app to initialize and a skill for Alexa so they can talk to their server. Their signal is weak and devices within 50 ft of the router dont always respond.

> 3 dayThese work perfectly! I’m currently using for 3 Christmas trees and a plug in the garage to outside Christmas lights. The integration with Alexa works fantastic. Outside lights are set to come on at sunset and off at a set time while the inside trees are voice controlled and grouped with rooms.

31-03-2025I have been using Treatlife Smart products for several years. I believe that between switches, plugs, dimmers and lights I now have seven of their products. The Smartplug four pack was a no brainer to purchase. Most of my house is run on Alexa usable products and these Smart plugs were found immediately by my Alexa app and are currently running four different devices. I used these Smart plugs for dusk to dawn security lighting. The one thing I am most happy with is that they did not lose their settings during a short power outage we had last week. Some of my other plugs required me to reinstall them. The installation process was very easy and all worked on the first try. I have not had occasion to use the Child Lock feature but will report back on it if I do. As with most products, you get what you pay for. The price of these Smart Plugs was extremely reasonable and if they are like the other Treatlife products that I have, they will last for a very long time. I am very pleased with this purchase and do recommend them to anyone looking to set up a smart home, especially using Alexa.

> 3 dayWe bought these for our Christmas Lights throughout the interior of the house so that we could ask Alexa to turn them on/off for us. Setup was slightly tedious in having to download the proprietary app, and then add each plug individually (Admittedly though, this may be user error). Once added, theyve worked flawlessly with Alexa to manually turn on/off (we havent tried a schedule yet since the kids are having joy asking Alexa to turn them on/off). One last note: Since their placement varies in distance form the WiFi Router, they dont always turn all on/off at the exact same moment, but do switch their state as asked.

> 3 daySo functionally,. These smart plugs do everything advertised. They have the 15 amp relay , they have timers, they can be in groups, they have an app, and they can connect to google and alexa. But everything is cloud based. When you install the treatlife app, you gotta create a cloud account. No cloud account, noise having them. Once created, you gotta create a home, family, and then rooms. Pairing the device is simple, push the botton, and the app uses bluetooth to find the new device and then you tell it what your wifi password is via the app and it registers to the cloud. All the timer events are in the cloud. In fact, to turn it on, the app contacts the cloud and the device turns on/ in about 5 seconds after the button press. There doesnt seem to be an internal clock for the timer events. So if your internet is down, your timer features are gone. This is why I dont like the cloud only features. We have to assume that treatlife could be gone in a year rendering these smart outlets useless. These outlets look like many other OEM smart plugs. From experience I have also learned that these devices which need a cloud account are disposable in a year, when the cloud policies changes . And do you really want a server in china having control over your appliances. The alexa and google features basically use the local home controller to connect to their cloud to control local devices. Ill keep them, but I am still looking for locally controlled outlets with a timer. These arent them. But they do work, for now.

Greater than one weekIve been buying Treatlife switches for my smart home this past year, and Ive been very happy with how they look and operate. The price-point of Treatlife products is hard to beat. I was pleased when I learned that Treatlife was expanding their product range and now has smart plugs. These look better than the Wemo smart plugs Ive had before and operate just as well as them. Plus they cost less. So a win-win-win scenario as far as Im concerned. Why, then, did I give these only four stars? Well, as much as I like Treatlife I want to be honest in my review: Until recently, Treatlife did not have its own app for smart home integration. Instead, they licensed the use of the Smart Life app, which was perfectly fine and worked very well. I had no problems linking the Smart Life app to my Google Home. However, the instructions in the box of these plugs says to use the Treatlife app, which works fine and is nearly identical to the Smart Life app. The problem I ran into is the Treatlife app is NOT listed in the Google Home app for linking. You can continue to use the Smart Life app, which is what I will do. I felt is was necessary to ding one star on my review because of the confusion about the apps and the lack of information in the instructions. Usually Treatlife is good with responses, but in this case I got no response from their support when I asked about this app problem. Other than that, these plugs are great and I will continue to buy them in the furture.
