> 3 dayWe have all the lights in our house connected to Alexa in one form or another. being able to tell Alexa to turn off all the lights as we leave the house or go to bed has great value. There are a couple of lamps that plug into the wall and cant use smart bulbs, these smart plugs allow us to control those lamps along with all the other lights in the house. The small downside is the actual switches on the lamps are not useable, the lamps must be turned on with Alexa. but she has proven to be reliable and having them bundled with all the lights in the house works well.

Greater than one weekVery good. I have one in my bedroom that my window ac is plugged into and it works with Alexa just fine.

Greater than one weekI bought these for the timer and the convince of being able to configure and switch on/off with my phone. But I ended up connecting it to my Alexa abs really surprised at how much I use it and how convenient it is to use voice commands to turn the light on. The only issue I have had is that it has disconnected a few times where I had to set it up again. Also when you set it up, you have to have WiFi on, Bluetooth, and everything else it asks for or it just doesn’t want to work. So I ended up letting it have all the access it wanted, set up the plug, then Turned off the access to the services in iPhone preferences.

> 3 dayAs a disclaimer, Treatlife offered these products for evaluation. I really like the small form factor. The other outlet remains available for a many cord types (such as a computer cord or power strip). A number of the smart plugs that Ive tried always block the 2nd outlet. If you have a large wallwart that almost blocks the next plug, then it probably wont fit next to this device. I also really like the current rating on this device. Im used to seeing 10A ratings on many devices at this price point. With a 15A rating, this can safely switch high power devices such as space heaters. As a test, I plugged an electric kettle into it. After boiling some water, the switch was still working fine and I didnt feel any heat coming from the switch. The one weakness I found was the Treatlife App. Its not quite as intuitive as a number of the competitor apps. For example, Im used to being able to long press on a device to bring up advanced options such as setting a schedule. Instead I simply got an error message about BLE not being supported. Additionally, its very obviously using the cloud when turning on and off. I frequently was running into 3-5 second delays between changing the state in the app and when the device actually responded. Finally, for folks who like to use open source local control (such as Home Assistant and Tasmota), it doesnt look like these plugs are supported yet. Update: I just noticed that this plug seems to have much better range than my other smart plugs. I was seeing intermittent connections at around 60-70 from my router. Relatively stable connection (minor packet loss) at around 45 from the router. At the same time, I noticed that a scheduled turn on didnt work when disconnected from wifi.

> 3 dayI have the light switches and was using WEMO. However, with a mesh system wemo kept losing “connection”. I got some inexpensive outlets and soon found out that they only allow six connections. After my experience with treatlife’s customer service, I bought these. They work amazing. No issue with disconnections, and I added everything to the smartlife app. I love them. The only concern I have (admittedly I don’t know if it’s an app issue) is the 24 hour clock. I would like a 12 clock.
