Greater than one weekI am completely impressed by the ease, simplicity, efficiency and cost of these smart plugs! I originally started with TreatLife products with their Outdoor outlet to control my outdoor lights around my firepit. It required me to download the app to install and integrate into my Alexa environment. Fast forward 6+ months, I finally decided to upgrade my 1990s plug-in timers for my Christmas lights. I ultimately decided to go with Treatlifes smart plugs because, as much as I enjoy having 5 different apps and brands, I wanted to minimize the number apps that I required to manage my smart home products. So, I went with TreatLifes smart plugs. They arrived nicely packed and protected with easy to follow instruction sheet contained. Since I already had the app, installation was really easy. Figuring out scheduling, pairing with my other plugs to create groups was as simple as can be. Alexa discovered them immediately and I can turn on and off all my Christmas lights by the schedule or through Alexa. I have not used the child safety feature nor the LED shut off, but I can see how those would be beneficial. Overall, these are exceptionally reasonably priced plugs that provide the same capability as other smart plugs. Ive realized that TreatLife has numerous other products in the smart home line that I will continue to explore. Their user interface is simple and their products are reliable, especially for the price. I recommend this product and this brand.

> 3 dayI am a regular user from Treatlife products, I have their smart switches, I do have other smart plug but is round endup only used one outlet instead of two, this product I can two at the same time. Price are great for a package of 4 and is a 15 amp plugs. Quality of the plugs feel solid, I used this on my 1500 watt deep fryer, and two of them for bedroom lamps. The installation is a bit different compare to their smart switches, the installation in the box said to scan QR CODE to download Treatlife app, once I download the app ask to create an account, this is one thing I dont like, the app before that come with their smart switches was Smart Life is by Tuya, I am NOT going to used two different apps to control two different products from the same company I bought them from, although I did used Smart Life app and add Socket (Wi-Fi) is work just fine, simplely fast connected. I am not sure how Treatlife app is different from Smart Life app but I would recommend the peoples that had Treatlife products before to used the same app instead of keep switching app for different products, if you using Alexa to voice everything that is great but there thing app offers that you cant get from Amazon Alexa. See pictures for more information on Smart Life app products layout and smart plug control settings. Updated 10/10/20 after a month of used two plug stopped working I recorded a video sent to tech support but answer, 5/21/21 David sent me an email asking if i want a replacement, i accepted his offer but the items was back order but he end up sending me a replacement thank you for that.

> 3 dayThe product seemed to work alone but having difficulty connecting to my Alexa. Could not get help and Amazon agents did not speak good English, did not understand and tried to pass me to Treatlife, which I could not get a live person and they sent an email which I could not understand.

> 3 dayThese have been up for several months. I havent had any signal issues and they are very responsive with Alexa on the app and with my Echo devices. Lots of options on the native app and less but effective options with the Alexa app.

21-11-2024Update 9/15/20: One of my outlets has disconnected a couple times which required resetting it and resyncing to my WiFi. Overall for months of use thus far, its not a huge issue. The other I use daily and has never had any connection issues so I still get the impression these are reliable. Full Disclosure: Treat Life sent me this product for free in order to test and review. Ive been using these for nearly a month now. Ive used other smart outlet plugs before, but ran into issues of random disconnects, difficultly resyncing to my SmartLife app, and no automatic reconnecting after power outages. TreatLifes smart plugs suffer none of those issues. On top of the reliability, they offer other features and customizations like whether or not you want the LED on or off, how the switch functions, timer settings, and a child lock. Plus, 15amps is a very generous rating, which is why I use mine in the garage. These guys, like all other TreatLife products Ive used, just work. Theyre high quality, and reliable.

> 3 dayIve been buying Treatlife switches for my smart home this past year, and Ive been very happy with how they look and operate. The price-point of Treatlife products is hard to beat. I was pleased when I learned that Treatlife was expanding their product range and now has smart plugs. These look better than the Wemo smart plugs Ive had before and operate just as well as them. Plus they cost less. So a win-win-win scenario as far as Im concerned. Why, then, did I give these only four stars? Well, as much as I like Treatlife I want to be honest in my review: Until recently, Treatlife did not have its own app for smart home integration. Instead, they licensed the use of the Smart Life app, which was perfectly fine and worked very well. I had no problems linking the Smart Life app to my Google Home. However, the instructions in the box of these plugs says to use the Treatlife app, which works fine and is nearly identical to the Smart Life app. The problem I ran into is the Treatlife app is NOT listed in the Google Home app for linking. You can continue to use the Smart Life app, which is what I will do. I felt is was necessary to ding one star on my review because of the confusion about the apps and the lack of information in the instructions. Usually Treatlife is good with responses, but in this case I got no response from their support when I asked about this app problem. Other than that, these plugs are great and I will continue to buy them in the furture.

> 3 dayThis is the first smart plug Ive installed and used. Its actually about 100 times better than any analog or legacy device. We had an old timer function unit with the mechanical dial for the aquarium we have and that thing seems like its always getting out of time with the clocks. This would work perfect for cycling a light on and off during the day. I used it through the Alexa app to power an LED overhead light. I love these things as they are ready to go right out of the box. As soon as I plugged it in, it was in pairing mode ready to connect. Installation took about 2 minutes. The box states 1800W max so if thats a limitation for you, consider something a little more heavy duty. The plug does take up a fair amount of space laterally, but theres plenty of space on a dual plug outlet to run this device and a regular plug in device.

> 3 dayAs a disclaimer, Treatlife offered these products for evaluation. I really like the small form factor. The other outlet remains available for a many cord types (such as a computer cord or power strip). A number of the smart plugs that Ive tried always block the 2nd outlet. If you have a large wallwart that almost blocks the next plug, then it probably wont fit next to this device. I also really like the current rating on this device. Im used to seeing 10A ratings on many devices at this price point. With a 15A rating, this can safely switch high power devices such as space heaters. As a test, I plugged an electric kettle into it. After boiling some water, the switch was still working fine and I didnt feel any heat coming from the switch. The one weakness I found was the Treatlife App. Its not quite as intuitive as a number of the competitor apps. For example, Im used to being able to long press on a device to bring up advanced options such as setting a schedule. Instead I simply got an error message about BLE not being supported. Additionally, its very obviously using the cloud when turning on and off. I frequently was running into 3-5 second delays between changing the state in the app and when the device actually responded. Finally, for folks who like to use open source local control (such as Home Assistant and Tasmota), it doesnt look like these plugs are supported yet. Update: I just noticed that this plug seems to have much better range than my other smart plugs. I was seeing intermittent connections at around 60-70 from my router. Relatively stable connection (minor packet loss) at around 45 from the router. At the same time, I noticed that a scheduled turn on didnt work when disconnected from wifi.
