> 24 hourAs with all Treatlife products, this one works for the most part. Its easy to set up, works with the SmartLife app, powers on and off as expected, and dims. Ive had it installed outside for a week now in the rain for 2 of those days and have not had any problems. The first callout is one for all outdoor dimmers. Most are limited to 350 watts. This one is 400 watts - so better than most. I didnt notice that so unfortunately its not working as I would have hoped. I fixed the problem by running two dimmers each controlling half of my load. The second callout is a bigger issue. When the dimmer looses power (its unplugged or you have a power outage), it still powers on and off but does so at the lowest setting (18%). Therefore you have to make sure to set a routine to power on and then change the dimming level to the proper setting just incase youve lost power recently. To be clear, this only happens on loss of electric company power - not when the dimmer is powered on and off through normal means. I would get this again but would consider other ones if it met all my requirements and I knew it would hold its dimmer setting even after loss of power. Minus one star because its limited to 400w and minus a second because it wont remember settings.

> 24 hourAnother great product from Treatlife! I happened upon my first Treatlife switch almost a year ago. It was a 4 pack of wall light switches to control our outdoor lights. I have use the Smart Life and Amazon Alexa apps to control them. Since then I have add many different Treatlife products to our home and was thrilled when I saw they now have an outdoor switch so we can control some outdoor lighting. Like all the other Treatlife products setup was easy and the dimming function is super cool. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

> 24 hourSetup was quick and easy. I bought a 2-pack of the Treatlife Outdoor Smart Dimmer Plug. I use one for my string of Edison style party lights on my patio and the other to dim the rope lights along my sea wall, which were too bright at full power. The sea wall was too far for my WiFi to reach reliably, so I programmed the power level on the Dimmer Plug in the house and then moved it to the sea wall, where it keeps the setting that I programmed while in the house. I recommend the product. I understand these can also be integrated with Alexa. Im presently just using the app that directly operates the devices.

> 24 hourWorks great. Very intuitive to use. My 14 year old daughter stole one from the two pack for herself. Hooked them both up to Alexa devices without issue. I now have a dimmable lamp in my livingroom that I scheduled to automatically turn on and off. Only downside is it is a little bulky and the plug has to be in the bottom socket if you want to use both plugs. Very friendly company that actually cares about their customers input so I wouldnt be surprised if this gets addressed in a 2nd gen. Would recommend company and their products.

> 24 hourI have quite a few Treatlife products, and have been very happy in general. Unfortunately, these outdoor plugs are disappointing. The two big issues are: - Theyre limited to 400 watts maximum. This is absolutely crippling. My plan was to use these plugs to control holiday lights, and it doesnt take many strings to exceed the 400 watt limit. When that happens, the plugs overheat and shut off automatically. - When these plugs lose power (e.g., you unplug them), they revert to a default 10% dim setting. That cant possibly be what most people want.

> 24 hourThese outdoor dimmer switches work great. I had a couple of outdoor areas I needed to add lighting to. I was able to plug the lights into these smart switches and control the lights with Alexa. It made the installation easy. The lights are on a timer and I can use Alexa to adjust the brightness or turn them off if needed. Great switches.

> 24 hourIve used a small handful of IoT products from this company- light switches, outlet plugs, timer plugs... so I felt like I knew what to expect when I got these. The outcome was better than I expected, though. While not altogether a super simple process, the Wi-fi pairing process was easier- at least it seemed so to me. The quality of the product itself was, to my surprise, quite superb. The plastic is hard and durable, and the cord is thick and also seemingly durable, allowing some pretty rugged outdoor use where needed. Of course, the switch is grounded, too, allowing for more safety in all scenarios. In my case, I have both being used indoors, but its nice, all the same. The controls are actually really nice, too. I particularly like the feature which allows the user to set a dimming limit. In other words, if you have it connected to dimmable LED lights, and those lights (as most do) have a tolerance limit at which they stop dimming, you can set the app to not be able to dim lower than that level. Honestly, the biggest downside on these things is that if you want to mount it, there is only one mounting hole for a screw... which is really not that bad, at all. One other thing to keep in mind is that the plug is a right angle. In other words, the cord goes immediately straight down. Its a VERY nice feature for looking discrete and saving space immediately in front of the outlet, but not hand if you have another plug on the same outlet that also is right-angled. Honestly, these are well worth the buck if you are looking for an outlet dimmer switch- whether you use it indoors, or out.

> 24 hourGreat product. My indoor Christmas lights were too bright, so I added this dimmer. I used one for my outdoor lights too. Now I can tell Alexa to set my outdoor lights to 50%. Or whatever I want. Easy to set up. Be sure to use the TreatLife app and not the Smart Life app as indicated by the Amazon description. Good for outdoor use, as its waterproof. There is a manual button on the unit to turn it off/on and to adjust the brightness. Buy this product. You wont be disappointed.

> 24 hourIts hard to imagine a smart switch that only has an Apple app, but this is the one. There is NO Treatlife app on the google store. However, Treatlife support is very good, and they pointed out that these switches are compatible with the Smart Life app. That does indeed work, so now I have the outdoor dimmer that I wanted, along with sunrise and sunset functions that are supported by Smartlife.
