> 3 dayI ordered the two pack of these Smart Dimmer Plugs to control some outdoor Christmas lights. I am very happy to report that they are working great and setup was very easy! They are weatherproof so I am able to leave them outside connected to the house outlets and control my Christmas lights from anywhere using their dedicated app or Alexa. The pairing process was very simple to perform with the treatlife app. After you download the app, you just put your phone or tablet on the network that you would like the smart plugs to connect to and push the button on the plugs three times in a row. Then they just show up in the app. Thats pretty much it. The app allows for scheduling and directly controlling the switches from anywhere and lets you create little automation scripts if you would like for doing specific things when the whether or your phone location changes. There is an Alexa skill that you can setup that connects to your treatlife account that lets you control the switches with Alexa as well. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be purchasing some indoor smart plugs from this company soon!

> 3 dayAt first, I purchased the 2 outlet 1 plug product from Treatlife. I had one set of low voltage AC deck lights connected to 1st outlet and another set of low voltage DC deck lights connected to the 2nd outlet. When reducing the brightness of the AC dimmable lights to a very low brightness setting (<10%), the DC lights (not dimmable) would flicker. The two outlets were not totally independent and separate. Even turning off the one set of DC deck lights would cause the other set of deck lights to flicker or blink. I repeated this with two individual plugs with 1 outlet each. Even in this setup, I observed the same issues. Based on this, the two plugs are somehow connected or seeing interference from one another through the app. Within the last couple of months, a different company released a 1 plug 2 outlet outdoor dimmer, and this same problem does not occur.

> 3 dayThese are great! The only reliable outdoor smart plug with DIMMER feature I have been able to find. Works great from the Tuya app, also works great with Homekit with Homebridge/Hoobs hub.

> 3 dayI used two of these for my Christmas lights on my house. They worked great. Like any other smart products, I did have to re-sync one of them once. Its so much easier than using a timer.

> 3 dayIve used a small handful of IoT products from this company- light switches, outlet plugs, timer plugs... so I felt like I knew what to expect when I got these. The outcome was better than I expected, though. While not altogether a super simple process, the Wi-fi pairing process was easier- at least it seemed so to me. The quality of the product itself was, to my surprise, quite superb. The plastic is hard and durable, and the cord is thick and also seemingly durable, allowing some pretty rugged outdoor use where needed. Of course, the switch is grounded, too, allowing for more safety in all scenarios. In my case, I have both being used indoors, but its nice, all the same. The controls are actually really nice, too. I particularly like the feature which allows the user to set a dimming limit. In other words, if you have it connected to dimmable LED lights, and those lights (as most do) have a tolerance limit at which they stop dimming, you can set the app to not be able to dim lower than that level. Honestly, the biggest downside on these things is that if you want to mount it, there is only one mounting hole for a screw... which is really not that bad, at all. One other thing to keep in mind is that the plug is a right angle. In other words, the cord goes immediately straight down. Its a VERY nice feature for looking discrete and saving space immediately in front of the outlet, but not hand if you have another plug on the same outlet that also is right-angled. Honestly, these are well worth the buck if you are looking for an outlet dimmer switch- whether you use it indoors, or out.

> 3 dayThese are very cool. Easy to set up and even easier to use after that. It adds a cool feature to be able to have voice activated lights too. I used them for outdoor lights that I did not have a switch for the outlet. Now I have this plugged in all the time and just tell Alexa to turn on the outdoor lights

> 3 dayAfter struggling with my two so called Semi-automated 12 volt landscape light timer/transformer, Not anymore, I finely have a solution that put control in the palm of my hand (Cell Phone). The 12 volt landscape lighting timer/transformers were always off and required me to climb in the bushes to reset the on off functions which was a pain in the butt. I came across these TREATLIFE Outdoor Dimmer Smart switches on Amazon and thought I’d give them a try. Well I can tell the devises are well made and super easy to install just plug and play. The TREATLIFE app makes it super easy to program any of their smart switches from anywhere that you have a WIFI connection. I use this as a Dusk to Dawn timer switch for the LED lights in the bushes in the front of my home. You can watch many YouTube videos that can show you how to install and use these devices. Two words - Great devices!

> 3 dayIts unfortunate they put works only with 2.4GHz Wifi. That is a gross oversimplification. 2.4GHz is only required during the INITIAL SETUP phase. After that you can use 5GHz. Im using a TP-Link Deco mesh network and the router app allows enabling/disabling of either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Simply disable the 5GHz during setup of the plug and the install should proceed without a hitch. Then once the smart dimmer plug is successfully added and working, you can re-enable the 5GHz on the router. If you dont have an app, theres usually a waly to log into your router to enable/disable the two bands. BTW, I suspect that the reason you often see that these wont work with a mesh network is that they only communicate with the specific node that you set up the smart plug for, and wont work node-to-node. I havent tested this yet, but thats probably right due to the different MAC addresses in each node. If youre lucky that all of you dimmers can be located within range of the node where you do the setup, you should be in business. Hope this helps!

Greater than one weekI love this smart plug! Super easy to install and the mobile app is so useful and convenient. But I want to point out one thing. Youd better check your Wi-Fi network before you purchase this if its 2.4 GHz or not. If not, buy something else.
