I ordered the 2-Pack Smart Plug-In Dimmers to use with my outdoor patio lights. They arrived in 2 days and I immediately installed both dimmers. Fairly easy to set up (I had to download the TreatLife App and follow the directions) and both units worked fine. After a week (and 2 torrential downpours), one of the units stopped working so I immediately contacted customer service. They sent a replacement unit right away and 3 months later it is still operating perfectly. I have ordered numerous outdoor timers/dimmers at far higher prices and all of them stopped working shortly after being exposed to outdoor elements. The TreatLife dimmer is waterproof and designed a little differently from the others Ive used. Im very happy with them. But the biggest reason why I recommend this product (I didnt receive it as part of a promotion or discount) is the Customer Service. Quick response and regard for their customers means a lot to me when I purchase a product and this company was exemplary in that regard. They even followed up a few weeks later to make sure I had received the replacement and it was working properly. Very impressive.

Setup was quick and easy. I bought a 2-pack of the Treatlife Outdoor Smart Dimmer Plug. I use one for my string of Edison style party lights on my patio and the other to dim the rope lights along my sea wall, which were too bright at full power. The sea wall was too far for my WiFi to reach reliably, so I programmed the power level on the Dimmer Plug in the house and then moved it to the sea wall, where it keeps the setting that I programmed while in the house. I recommend the product. I understand these can also be integrated with Alexa. Im presently just using the app that directly operates the devices.

At first, I purchased the 2 outlet 1 plug product from Treatlife. I had one set of low voltage AC deck lights connected to 1st outlet and another set of low voltage DC deck lights connected to the 2nd outlet. When reducing the brightness of the AC dimmable lights to a very low brightness setting (<10%), the DC lights (not dimmable) would flicker. The two outlets were not totally independent and separate. Even turning off the one set of DC deck lights would cause the other set of deck lights to flicker or blink. I repeated this with two individual plugs with 1 outlet each. Even in this setup, I observed the same issues. Based on this, the two plugs are somehow connected or seeing interference from one another through the app. Within the last couple of months, a different company released a 1 plug 2 outlet outdoor dimmer, and this same problem does not occur.

App works fast and is easy to setup. Bought a 2 pack of these dimmer plugs, and 1 works flawlessly, the other acts odd when a nearby household dimmer is used. No issue of the rotary dimmer is off, and no issue if the rotary dimmer is full on. Any where in between, and the smart plug turns on automatically, and assumes the rotary dimmer level. Swapped the 2 locations, and same issue on the one near the dimmer. Odd, but they are still very reliable, and the app is perfect

So far so good. These were easy to set up and integrate with my other smart switches/plugs. I chose to use the smartlife app rather than Treatlifes app since I also have several plugs from other brands in my house. As another reviewer mentioned, if using smartlife, just select the socket wifi option when adding. The program will recognize these plugs as dimmers. The plugs are rated IP44 which technically is splash proof - which is fine for my application since I am using them outdoors but undercover. Im not sure how comfortable I would be with placing them in a fully weather exposed location. I purchased 2 of these smart dimming plugs to control dimmable LED string lights around my patio. I am using 1 plug to control the perimeter string lights, and 1 to control the string lights over the seating area to allow for independent control of the lighting as needed. They can dim my string lights flicker free down to 1% though I find 10% is about the lowest useful setting for me. It is very cool to have my lights on a schedule as well as fully controllable via the app or voice control (Alexa or Google).

This is a great option for my string of vintage deck lights. I no longer have to go plug them in to turn them on and off. I can also dim them to get just the right mood for the evening.

This product is very easy to set up with the Treatlife app that I downloaded from Google Play. On the Android, the setup of each dimmer was very simple. Just follow the instructions. Basically: Blinking rapidly, hit the + on the app and it finds it, enter your WiFi password and its done! Then you can add it to Alexa and create routines for it! Very easy! The dimming is really nice because you can change the dimmable range depending on your exact application. Not all dimmers can do this. One item they do not include in the Amazon description is if you are in an area without WiFi, you can use the physical button ON the dimmer to increase/decrease the brightness. So it is NOT absolutely necessary to connect it to your phone via the app in order to use them!

Im currently working on remodeling my lamia. I decided to add some string lights and thought they might be too bright depending on the occasion. So I bought the Treatlife smart dimmer. Im very happy with it. Using the dimmer control on the mobile app works flawless. There is no delay when you swipe the app and when my lights dim. I would say as good as a wired dimmer. Also this is rated for outdoor use so I dont have to worry if it gets damp. I was also able to connect it to my Alexa so I can control the brightness and change if it’s on or off using voice commands.

I installed one of these outdoor smart plugs to power my outdoor string lights over my patio. It was very easy to set up and the system works flawlessly! It was simple to connect to the app - and the app makes it very easy to control. Whats better is that connecting it to Alexa took no effort at all....saying Alexa turn on the backyard lights and having it work is almost like magic! Plus its great to use the app to brighten or dim the lights. If Im outside without my phone its very simple just to press the conveniently located button on the plug to turn on or off the lights. All and all a very well designed and extremely functional product! I am looking forward to using more of these to power my Christmas lights!

Started using Treatlife products like Smart single pole switches, 2 point switches, smart plugs, bulbs and now this. Have to say I have not been disappointed. Clear instructions for installation and set-up and it works perfectly. I am a very satisfied customer and have started recommending their products to friends and family. I recently installed one at my cousins house for her to try and she is also sold on this. :)
