> 24 hourIve used a small handful of IoT products from this company- light switches, outlet plugs, timer plugs... so I felt like I knew what to expect when I got these. The outcome was better than I expected, though. While not altogether a super simple process, the Wi-fi pairing process was easier- at least it seemed so to me. The quality of the product itself was, to my surprise, quite superb. The plastic is hard and durable, and the cord is thick and also seemingly durable, allowing some pretty rugged outdoor use where needed. Of course, the switch is grounded, too, allowing for more safety in all scenarios. In my case, I have both being used indoors, but its nice, all the same. The controls are actually really nice, too. I particularly like the feature which allows the user to set a dimming limit. In other words, if you have it connected to dimmable LED lights, and those lights (as most do) have a tolerance limit at which they stop dimming, you can set the app to not be able to dim lower than that level. Honestly, the biggest downside on these things is that if you want to mount it, there is only one mounting hole for a screw... which is really not that bad, at all. One other thing to keep in mind is that the plug is a right angle. In other words, the cord goes immediately straight down. Its a VERY nice feature for looking discrete and saving space immediately in front of the outlet, but not hand if you have another plug on the same outlet that also is right-angled. Honestly, these are well worth the buck if you are looking for an outlet dimmer switch- whether you use it indoors, or out.

> 24 hourOutside of Phillips Hue, I have standardized my smart home devices through Smart Life. Treatlife products work great with this app, are always reliable, and are cost-effective which is why I keep coming back to them. I have had these outdoor smart outlets in the weather for all 4 seasons and even in some extreme/severe weather. Ive never had an issue. They continue to be reliable and stay connected to wifi at all times.

> 24 hourI wasn’t expecting much due to the price, but the product seems to be built very well. Unfortunately it wouldn’t dim the Christmas lights on our tree, but that is not due to the functionality of these smart plugs dimmers. We will get a lot of use out of these outdoors and even use one on the Christmas tree now, even though the lights aren’t dimmable, to turn lights off and on with Alexa. Setting up the units were very straightforward and took only 5 minutes to get both units setup and programmed. If you aren’t particularly tech savvy, it might be a bit more difficult but follow the direction and you will be fine.

> 24 hourStarted using Treatlife products like Smart single pole switches, 2 point switches, smart plugs, bulbs and now this. Have to say I have not been disappointed. Clear instructions for installation and set-up and it works perfectly. I am a very satisfied customer and have started recommending their products to friends and family. I recently installed one at my cousins house for her to try and she is also sold on this. :)

> 24 hourI have bought many of these products for different things - 1 way, 3 way, outdoor plug, etc. They are really good products and I control all of them in the same app so its very easy. These outdoor plugs are great as usual for Treatlife products. It dims too, even though I wasnt looking for that function, its nice to have. This is a plug and go. Nothing else to do, other than downloading the app if you dont already have it or adding it in the app if you already have the app. I highly recommend it.

> 24 hourIm currently working on remodeling my lamia. I decided to add some string lights and thought they might be too bright depending on the occasion. So I bought the Treatlife smart dimmer. Im very happy with it. Using the dimmer control on the mobile app works flawless. There is no delay when you swipe the app and when my lights dim. I would say as good as a wired dimmer. Also this is rated for outdoor use so I dont have to worry if it gets damp. I was also able to connect it to my Alexa so I can control the brightness and change if it’s on or off using voice commands.

> 24 hourGreat product. Using with my outdoor Bistro Lights. This is the only outdoor smart ‘dimmer’ product that I am aware of and it works perfectly. I have set up two programs – one for full brightness at dusk and then after a few hours, it dims and is at twenty percent brightness till dusk. So they work as security lights as well as I have these string lights running all along the fence. Note that the dimmer is good for lighting loads up to 400 watts which is plenty for a couple of string lights in series.

> 24 hourWorks great. Easily added to SmartLife App and Alexa recognized it immediately. I have AC 110 LED strip lights attached and I can schedule and dim them. Perfect for my application. It would be nice if they had a shroud over the outlet instead of a water tight not-in-use cover, which only works when you don’t have something plugged in. What’s the point of it? So, I dropped a star due to the physical design.

> 24 hourSo far so good. These were easy to set up and integrate with my other smart switches/plugs. I chose to use the smartlife app rather than Treatlifes app since I also have several plugs from other brands in my house. As another reviewer mentioned, if using smartlife, just select the socket wifi option when adding. The program will recognize these plugs as dimmers. The plugs are rated IP44 which technically is splash proof - which is fine for my application since I am using them outdoors but undercover. Im not sure how comfortable I would be with placing them in a fully weather exposed location. I purchased 2 of these smart dimming plugs to control dimmable LED string lights around my patio. I am using 1 plug to control the perimeter string lights, and 1 to control the string lights over the seating area to allow for independent control of the lighting as needed. They can dim my string lights flicker free down to 1% though I find 10% is about the lowest useful setting for me. It is very cool to have my lights on a schedule as well as fully controllable via the app or voice control (Alexa or Google).
