> 3 dayIve purchased this kit two years in a row to take with my family to the beach for a rainy day craft project. This kit comes with bottles that are already filled with powdered dye to which you add water to activate, rubber bands for tying, and several pairs of plastic gloves to protect little fingers. You dont have to soak the clothes in soda ash before you dye them, like you do with some kits. Weve had no problems making 5 adult sized t-shirts with extra dye left over using one kit. My kids love the rainbow of bright colors, and after a year of washing weve had no problems with fading. To use at the beach, we lay down plastic garbage bags on the ground, and dye on top of them. After saturating the shirts we roll them up in the plastic garbage bags and leave them in the sun for a few days before rinsing and then washing.

Greater than one weekThis set doesnt come with tshirts. Also make sure to prep to protect area from becoming dyed. Instructions were easy to follow. This is a great gift.

> 3 dayi love all the colors that it comes with! even though i only used some of the selected colors, its cool to see that the box provides a bit more color just in case you run out of your favorites. The box includes the bottles, powder, gloves, and a ton of rubber bands to assist in your tie-dye magic. To make the colored powder last longer, I did not use the entire powder during my tie-dye use. I separated the powder into a tiny ziploc bag leaving just enough powder in the bottle. Itll probably be like a couple of teaspoons if I had to be kind of exact. Next I filled it up with some water and bam, I was able to get the color to mix and used it all for my t-shirt. It wouldve been sad if I had used the entire powder for my tshirt, then I would have a ton of dye left over that Ill have to toss out.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I was expecting. The colors are wonderful and very vibrant. There were some directions on style ideas so you know where and how to place the rubber bands. The only downfall is the color does go through the gloves!! My fingertips were stained for several days. But other than that everything worked really well and they turned out so nice.

> 3 dayOur favorite summer activity! The colors are vivid - the gloves are useless though - better off buying nitrile gloves. Careful when uncapping bottle after shaking they leak out dye. Also make sure to prewash everything! (Sweatshirt was not washed and s 50/50 cotton/poly blend) Bright spiral was 109% cotton and ore washed. We did all the shirts you see in group photo with 2 kits.

> 3 dayI bought this kit to use with my nieces and nephews. 3 years-9 years old. We did ten t-shirts 6 pairs of socks 4 hoodies and some masks and had enough color. We watched YouTube videos for the patterns.. so much fun! Just be ready for a mess!!! Lol.

> 3 dayThis was a Birthday present my husband got for me! I love Tye Dye shirts!! This was messy but so fun!! Great Tye Dye kit, easy to do even for someone who has never done Tye Dye before!! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was the size of the bottles, they are to small for great coverage. I used the whole bottle and still some white in the designs. I still love the way my shirts came out though!! TIP let the Dye set in for a good 24 hours on the material before rinsing!!! I did one Shirt at 8 hours, its not near as bright as the ones shown in pics. All shirts pictured I let set for 24 hours!!
