Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit Kaleidoscope, 12 Colors Tie Dye

Came completely fallen apart box ripped open. Otherwise the product is good and works the way it’s intended. It has a lot of different colors to the usual which is exactly what I needed.

The cardboard itself came open, but I think that was more of a warehouse issue than a product packaging issue. I used 6 or 7 of the colors to make 4 long sleeved t-shirts and still a decent amount of dye left. I followed the directions to a T, but the shirts came out a little less vibrant than I was hoping. Cant beat it for the price though. Ill get a better quality dye eventually, but this is great for practice.

I used this kit for my son’s first birthday party. We had our guests tie dye onesies for him as gifts. Everyone had lots of fun, it was really really easy to prepare and use, and it was really affordable. The colors were super vibrant after washing. I ended up sending a kit to a family member for their birthday because I like it so much.

Ive purchased this kit two years in a row to take with my family to the beach for a rainy day craft project. This kit comes with bottles that are already filled with powdered dye to which you add water to activate, rubber bands for tying, and several pairs of plastic gloves to protect little fingers. You dont have to soak the clothes in soda ash before you dye them, like you do with some kits. Weve had no problems making 5 adult sized t-shirts with extra dye left over using one kit. My kids love the rainbow of bright colors, and after a year of washing weve had no problems with fading. To use at the beach, we lay down plastic garbage bags on the ground, and dye on top of them. After saturating the shirts we roll them up in the plastic garbage bags and leave them in the sun for a few days before rinsing and then washing.

This was bought for an activity for an adult camping trip and it was fantastic. The colors are deep and vibrant and very easy to use. May want to bring more rubber bands.

Got this for my niece for her birthday and it as a hit!! Definitely going to be a go to birthday gift for us!

The kit itself was easy to use and worked well. However I received it with the bottom of the box ripped partially open and when we opened it up to do the tie dye it was missing the instruction booklet AND the plastic drop/table cloth - 2 very important items!! Really annoying to not have instructions when it was our first time using this kit. And also really annoying to not have the plastic table cloth to protect the table from the dye as tie dying is a VERY MESSY process. We proceeded anyway cause we had everything ready to go and I didn’t want to let my kids down by scraping it due to missing items. I had to use cut up trash bags as a drop cloth. Ugh.

My first design was a heart.... so freaking simple!! I used dark colors for my son and now Im the envy of the other moms I think. Maybe its all in my head because Ive never done any awesome art my whole life before this lol.

Wonderful product and the bottles make tie dying possible for young kids with some adult help (3-5 year olds). As long as you follow the instructions (I let our shirts sit at least 24 hrs before rinsing) the colors come out vibrant and withstand future washes really well. No soda ash needed but you do definitely want to prewash new shirts and start with damp fabric. Super fun!

We’ve purchased this before and know that it is a great set. Which is why, this time, we bought it to give as a gift to my daughter’s best friend. However, the package arrived totally opened with all parts flipping around the envelope. It hardly looks “giftable” now. Haven’t decided what we’ll do as it seems tacky to give someone a gift with the packaging all taped together- even if it is brand new.
