Works great, the base pops off really easy

It’s a sponge filter.

Came early works great just didn’t come with the plastic tube that cover the air tubing

These arent super dense or anything, but they get the job done. Perfect for raising fry or just in general as a biological filter. If youre looking for something to filter out big particles and to supply your own media, you really cant beat an HOB or canister, but these keep the ammonia and nitrite levels waaay down. Cant really bet them for the price.

Bought these for my 55 gallon tank works good , use a powerhead, had to modify too my liking great price better then box fish store

I have been using these for the past year and they are easy to take apart to clean and easy to keep running in the aquarium. I have two in my 75 gallon bow front and they work wonderfully!

Works well and as expected

A must have for the aquarium hobbyist. The easiest filtration you’ll ever use. Why didn’t I know about these years ago? I’ve spent hundreds on HOB and canister filters. Not to mention cartridges and filter media. You buy these, hook em up to some airline tubing and an air pump...and go. I have them in all my tanks, from 10g to 150g. They are especially good for raising fry (you don’t have to worry about them getting sucked into the filter).

I use this in a Salt Water QT tank and I feel much better knowing I have that extra bit of oxygen in there to counter balance the various medicines I need to treat the fish with that often strip the water of oxygen
