I bought one of these for my son, and from day one he has adored it - it comes everywhere with us and he always has it in his mouth or swinging around. It lasted through cutting his front teeth, but it got so much attention that the plastic finally started to crack. We ended up replacing it, and Sophie continues to be one of his most favorite toys. We got this as a gift for a friend’s newborn, and not only did she love receiving it but her son is just as obsessed with his Sophie as our son. It’s really great quality, easy for little hands, and easy to clean. I highly recommend.

My 6 month old loves this! Easy to hold and the only thing that seems to help his teething! I don’t worry about something breaking off because there is nothing that breaks off! This is worth every penny! I will buy this again for a gift!

our little one has trouble holding on to this (4 months old) but im sure in another month or two they will have better coordination to hold this.

This toy is MAGICAL. I cant explain it but the baby LOVES this thing. The legs are perfect for her to hold onto and she chews on the little giraffe feet constantly. Oh and it SQUEAKS, which makes her giggle every time. Beware dog owners, youll have to teach the pup that this squeaky toy is not his. It does have a bit of a weird rubber smell, even after initial washing, but doesnt seem to bother baby. Was a little skeptical because this seemed a bit expensive for a baby toy, but this is by far her favorite toy so I dont regret the purchase one bit.

My baby thinks it’s very funny when this toy squeaks. As for teething, he isn’t the biggest fan but will still use it occasionally.

Sophie Giraffe is soft and ultra flexible. The toy/teether fits in a babys hand perfectly. Ive given several new moms this gift for their baby & always get smiles of appreciation in the months to come when their little one gets acquainted with Sophie.

So soft, cute, and my 8 month old LOVES it. I bought it for her when she was a little over 6 months old, and its by far her favorite toy. Its great for teething, the squeak is cute and makes her laugh, the rubber is made of great quality. Just make sure you know how to clean Sophie properly!! I didnt read the instructions first and washed her under slow running water, doing my best to not get the squeak hole, but it inevitably got a little water in it and the squeaker stopped working. I was so sad, especially because of how expensive this baby toy is! But after shaking Sophie around A LOT and pushing the squeaker around, it started working again. Now, I just take a wet wipe or slightly damp wash cloth and clean her that way. I thought this was always just some trendy toy that fancy moms bought, but I decided to cave in and give it a try for my second kid out of curiosity. I really wish I had this for my first!

It’s for my daughter. The toy was taken out of the box before getting to me though. That’s why I’m rating four stars. The Sophie is in good condition the but Sophie box was open and ripped with Sophie floating around easlily inside. It’s not a big deal we will just clean her before giving her to my daughter as the toy is in good condition, just want to be on the safe side. But if the bod she comes in is important to you for aesthetic purposes or something you might be better off just getting in the store just to be on the safe side. Otherwise it came about three days early which is very nice! I was alerted promptly when it was delivered as well. I would recommend Sophie as a baby toy. My daughter loves the Sophie cartoon so we decided to do a whole Sophie theme for her birthday. We’re going to give her this one as a gift.
