> 3 dayWe’ve had this for 6 months and it’s got a crack going down the side of the neck now . Since I don’t want my baby biting off a piece and swallowing plastic I have to throw this away . For the price I’d expect it to last longer . It’s upsetting because my daughter loves this thing but I refuse to buy another one

> 3 dayOk I’ll admit it…I thought people were CRAZY to buy this teether. How could Sophie possibly be worth more than some of the jeans this mama buys herself? Well for whatever reason it’s like babies are drawn to it! My son who has really bad oral aversion from reflux, silent Aspiration and NG/NJ feeding tubes actually loves chomping on her feet and head! She’s super cute and easy for little fingers to hold. Dog families- like most baby toys, it squeaks (for whatever reason)! My dog is just as interested and OBSESSED with trying to chew on poor Sophie.

> 3 dayThe product I received is an authentic and beautiful Sophie la Giraffe! I was happy to find out I could verify the product authenticity by scanning an hologram on the back of the packaging. The product is identical to the one I was playing with as a kid growing up in France 30 years ago. The look, the smell, the squeaky sound, everything is precisely the same! The toy is still made in the same factory in France as it always was. The instructions are written on the packaging and available in multiple languages. I noticed the French and English instructions are written without any grammatical errors. This is very rare nowadays since most manufacturers use automatic translations. Thank you Vulli for caring about the details, at least one person appreciates it. Sophie is such a classic toy with its iconic design, it makes both babies and nostalgic parents happy! My son loves it and so do I! Hope my review was helpful.

Greater than one weekMy friends wife is having a baby so I started buying some things I know they will need (having three grown children of my own and 8 grandchildren). My daughter is the expert however so I asked her opinion on everything. She said I should definitely buy a Sophie. I had no idea what a Sophie was so she educated me in the fine art of Sophie for teething babies. No problem except the price. Its a squeaking rubber giraffe for $20+. I dont know about anyone else, but Im big on value for my dollar and while it went against the grain, I bought it anyway. Had no idea rubber giraffes from France were so expensive, but oh, well, Im a sucker for babies. When mine were little I didnt care about how much I spent, same thing with my grandchildren. I just thought it was funny, a Sophie for the baby...who knew?

> 3 dayThis would be a 5 star review if the quality was a little better. We have been using this for 4 months and there is a hole in the seam where the rubber is fused together. We had two Sophie’s with my older son and this never happened. With that said, this is by far my baby’s favorite teether. It is easy for a little baby (3-4 mo) to hold and there are lots of different parts to chew on. I just wish it wasn’t coming apart because now it is difficult to wash without getting water in that tear.
