> 24 hourI finally upgraded my Raspberry Pis external drive to an SSD. The speed and the extra capacity on this thing are great, but they come with a price... 1.6A power draw! What??? The old spinning drive it replaced required 0.6A. The Raspberry Pi 4 can supply 1.2A. I had to purchase an externally powered SATA-to-USB3 adapter to get it to work with the Pi. Other than that debacle, its a nice upgrade in storage.

> 24 hourBought this to add storage to an M1 Mac Mini. So far its reliable and performing well. Files are always accessible right away with no lag or delay. Only had it a few months, so Ill see how it goes and update the review if things change.

> 24 hourThis was really easy to install. Yes, I am an IT guy and used other 3rd-party software to clone the smaller SSD to this larger, 1TB version. Took less than 30 minutes to do this! Gotta love living in 2020! :-D

> 24 hourBought 4 drives in August of 2020 for RAID10. Using LSI RAID controller. Today March 4th, 2021 one drive failed with tons of CRC errors, and the LSI controller unable to fix it or rebuild. It is not the port, because I replaced it with another drive and the port is working properly. I am losing faith in WD. First, they lied about SMR vs CMR drives, now they sell SSD, which are not capable to live even for a year. Also bought their EasyStore 240 GB drive at BestBuy, and it failed in less than a month. WD makes garbage drives.

> 24 hourI tested it a number of different ways, and it was at about 2/3rds of the speed expected.
