> 24 hourI waited a long time for these, but they were worth the wait!!! I am a low tech person and I managed to get them set up and linked to Alexa. They work great. I am enjoying using voice commands to turn things on and off.

> 24 hourThese units are fine so long as you have uninterrupted power. But when the power goes off and on again, these units have to be manually reset. The problem seems to be that if the WiFi router isnt up and running when these units are powered on, they will simply hang until you manually reset them ... sort of defeats the purpose of a smart home when the devices are so idiotic.

> 24 hourWas able to set it up and get them working with the app, also added it to google assistant pretty easily for voice control from my phone. Initial set up seems normal, download random app, sign up based on cell phone number. The main difference between others was that the app they required actually worked.

> 24 hourI bought these as a gift for a friend. When I tried to set them up, I found that his Spectrum-installed router had assigned the exact same name to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. for some reason, the band selected always defaults to the 5GHz. I was unable to find a way around the issue. I kept them, and they work perfectly on 2.4GHz at my home.

> 24 hourReally great to have and use however, within a week one failed. Couldve been that the heater it was attached too was over the current rating? I have another Jina of remote plug (outdoor version) that has no problem with a heater.

> 24 hourI used WeMo for 6 years and hated its slow sluggish response. The WeMo app is a piece of crap where it constantly freezes and fails to find devices. WeMo device themselves drops wifi connection aggressively. This new smart plug immediately connected to the wifi in 3 seconds and was ready in 4 seconds. WeMo took me 5 minutes to setup where this took 7 seconds max. I installed the app login and adding new device just took me 7 seconds. Warning there are lots of fake ones with the same name and the QR codes takes you to the wrong one. You are looking for Smart Life app. Then in Alaxa app I added the Skills called Smart Life from Alaxa skills market. Then after 20 seconds the linking was done. After scan it was all ready and connected. Both with the Android app and with Alaxa training on and off is 8 times faster then WeMo. Sooooooooo happy I bought this. Small, fast, and cheap.

> 24 hourSo far so good. Setup was a snap, took less than 15 minutes to get two units up and running. Using these to control TVs used for digital signage at a school -- created a schedule for the desired hours and so far is working exactly as expected. The ability to set up once only sessions or simply turn on/off on demand -- even from a remote location -- is great for the times when theres an event outside regular school hours when the display being on would be nice. UPDATE 1/30/18 -- both units have started to operate on the schedules programmed. Connectivity is not an issue as the unit can be toggled on/off readily. But after multiple days of systems staying on overnight we need to find a more reliable solution.

> 24 hourThese plugs work great! I have my entire house integrated with Alexa. Every lamp in the house is connected with one of these. Theyre smaller than other products, so they take up less space on your outlet, and theyre consistently reliable with my WIFI network. The only thing I wish they would change, about the design (which is a problem with all of the smart plugs) is that they extend the plug and make it challenging to plug directly into the wall. Basically, they make your cord stick way out from the wall, and make it challenging to push furniture up against the outlet. To get around this, I often use power strips or extension cords, to I can push my furniture against the wall. Overall...Im super happy with these. Theyre a great price, for what you get.

> 24 hourThese work very well with my lamps. I would give them 5 stars but I thought the directions to link w/the Echo could be a little more clear; it wasnt too difficult though, just took a few minutes.
