> 3 dayI got these for Christmas and really didnt get what to do with them. We put one on our fan in the bedroom and programmed it to go on before bed and off after we get up. I use the other one on my straightener since I often forget to turn it off. I installed the app on my phone so I can check remotely and turn it off it I find I have left it on. Now that I have them I can think of lots of uses for them.

> 3 dayConvenient but feels like it is missing some functionality. Cant get it to pair with IFTTT which would be nice to be able to turn lights off when I leave the house. First order had a dud but the company was quick in shipping me out a new one. Great customer service.

> 3 dayVery easy to setup. Works perfectly. I like that I can set up custom schedules for each one but still override easily from my phone. My minor complaint is that the unit takes up too much space and blocks the other outlet

> 3 dayI was a bit hesitant about how these would work, but set up was a breeze. The app works fine and works with Alexa. I use one for my kitchen cabinet lighting. No more reaching behind appliances to turn them on. The other on a light fixture that doesnt have a normal size bulb. There is no dimming function, but works fine.

> 3 dayMy first venture into using our Dot to control a few things. Took a few minutes to set up and I did that twice. Set the smart outlet app up first and the app was ok, It has the on/off action just like a light switch. Next I went to the Skill in Alexa for these plugs, and set them up in Alexas Smart Home settings. All went well, Quality seems excellent, Where I plugged in one it made the outlet a little hard to use the second outlet (my strange plug), I just added a connector, one of those short plugs with 3 places to plug something in and it solved the problem. In playing around as when we are on vacation I dont trust our router to stay on all the time so I use one of those lights on/off timers to reset it in the early AM. I my brilliant thinking, I tried the second plug to see if it would work away from home to reset the router. (bad idea you figure it out, I dont recommend trying it). It is cool that you can control lights or other things remotely using the apps.

> 3 dayWorks exactly as advertised. Easy to set up. Best price I can find at the moment for such devices. Great product to get you started in home automation. Integrates easily with Alexa. But...note if you want to do more advanced programming of the smart plug (eg. If a sensor triggers, then turn on this smart plug) i have yet to find a way to do so. You will need a hub (eg. SmartThings by Samsung) that will allow it to be integrated with other devices. But, for basic functions, no hub required. Note also, two of these devices will not fit on one wall receptacle...that might not be a big deal however.

> 3 dayWorks well with a wall lamp. But doesnt turn on any appliance that has an on off switch. It wont turn on the appliance without manual intervention. It will turn off or on the wall socket it is plugged into. Also, seems to have a power limit. When plugged into an appliance that draws some serious wattage, it turns itself off.

> 3 dayMakes turning lights and fans on and off more high tech. Can be difficult to establish connection. Make sure your not on 5G and it should work the first time. This is my second purchase of these gadgets. I’ll get more I’m sure.

> 3 dayThey work great! I love the schedule capability. Only problem is they are a little difficult to set up. Great Price at $15 each compared to others out there. Small footprint too.

> 3 dayThese are great when they work. Ver convenient when traveling so house doesnt look dark and empty. Unfortunately, I have to keep reprogramming constantly. Very annoying.
