> 24 hourUPDATE: After three months I am still very happy with the devices. Worked through and rain and shine. And most importantly, someone finally figured out how to make them work with Alexa: Make sure when you name them use only ONE WORD such as Garage. If you do, Alexa will discover them and they seamlessly integrated into the Alexa experience. Use a phrase such as Garage Door, no dice. Amazing that the manufacturer was totally useless in helping to figure this one out. Ordered two, and I like them a lot. I use them for timed on/off of holiday decorations. While the units themselves work great, I am not impressed with the companion iPhone app. Not only a UI designed by a moron but the Amazon Echo integration is not working at all. I looked online, and I am not alone with that issue.

> 24 hourI got this item to control the outdoor ground/pathway lights in my backyard. I have and old power supply for the lights but all it can do is turn the lights on or off. I need adjustment for daylight savings time. So instead of buying a new power supply. I got one of these. It works great! I now plug the power supply into this and then into the outlet. The app is good and easy to set up. With the app there are many different options for turning lights on and off. I cant try the Alexa part of things because I dont have one. Sorry. Great product would buy again if need to.

> 24 hourI installed 2 of them yesterday to control my mechanical weed control system on my beach. They work great so far. I would have given a 5 star rating but the iPhone app is not very easy to use. It does every thing but for a simple app - it is very difficult to figure out how to do simple things like rename the device. The feature is there but the visual queues are not very obvious/standard.

> 24 hourThis device works great but the app could use a couple of improvements: 1) Please add an auto-off timer feature: Id really like to be able to set a custom max run time so any time I turn the outlet on, it will automatically shut off again after, say 2 hours, or maybe 3. I hate waking up in the morning to realize I left it on all night. 2) Change the color scheme! I dont think I suffer from any form of colorblindness however I have a really tough time differentiating between the gray off and green on colors. The green is so pale. Add it bit more contrast and pop to the palette please! Other than these tweaks, I think its a great product.

> 24 hourI ordered two of these units in 2018 (currently 2019) to control outdoor Christmas lights. They work great - easy set up, app is easy to navigate -though make sure you give them 1 word names - and very easy integration into Amazon Alexa. I set up a routine in Alexa to turn them off and on at given times, and grouped them under Outside Christmas Lights so that I can also voice command them. Then I put them in storage for a year, pulled them out this Christmas and they still work great. Ended up buying two more.

> 24 hourAt its core it works, but there are a lot of hang ups with this unit which is why I am searching for a replacement. Getting the wi-fi connected is a bit of a process. You will need a little technical ability to get it set up. Once it is set up control from the app is pretty simple. The wi-fi on this unit is very flaky. We have a number of power outages in my neighborhood and its a crap shoot if this will connect once power is back up. Sometimes it connects with no problem on its own, sometimes I have to pair it with the wi-fi again while its still in its normal location, sometimes I have to unplug it and take it upstairs near my router for it to pick up the wi-fi again. Have been dealing with this for a while with this unit but now I am over it and looking for a replacement.

> 24 hourTLDR; App is terrible and no support from manufacturer, but works okay via voice control and timer as long as you have wifi network that broadcasts separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz SSIDs. Will NOT work if you have a network that has a single SSID for both bands (e.g. Google WiFi and many mesh networks) Full review: I used two of these switches for about 10 months. As long as you have a WiFi network with a dedicated 2.4GHz SSID it will work, though the app is by far the worst app of all the smart device apps I have (out of ~10). Assuming you do get it setup and dont make any changes to WiFi settings it works well enough on a timer and with Alexa. After switching my WiFi network to Google WiFi, can no longer do the setup to connect switches to the network. There is no support from the manufacturer so you cant actually get help from them. Have gone over 3 weeks of emailing support contact without a response. In doing my own trouble shooting and research it seems that the device is not capable of working on any network where both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are broadcast using the same SSID. I even tried forcing my phone to be connected to WiFi on the 2.4GHz band in order to do the setup (had to turn off nearby Google WiFi puck so I connected to the 2.4GHz band from a router farther away), but this still did not work. Very frustrating because the app does not provide any feedback or really show anything - there are no settings or other things you can try within it. It seems like an app that was created by a complete novice as a minimum viable product and has not been touched since. In my home smart devices including multiple Alexa echos, Google Home, Phillips Hue, TP Link, WeMo, Ecobee, Ring, FDT View, Amazon Cloud Cam.... all worked seamlessly with transition to Google WiFi, with these WiOn switches being the only problematic ones.

> 24 hourIve had this unit for a while and all of a sudden stopped connecting. I went on the WIOn website and selected support. A chat window opened. After some back and forth dialogue and correction steps (which did not work) the agent said that they would charge me $55 to correct the issue because they are a third party...and WiOn does not have customer support. What?!? No idea whats going on. I can but a whole new unit for that, and the idea that one would pay to get basic customer support from the vendor is ludicrous. Beware.

> 24 hourThese work great; have purchased 3 of them, the first one about 2 years ago, and its still going strong. To be fair, though, I do live in Southern California, so the unit hasnt lived through much rain and moisture, but has stood up well to extreme heat. I have one unit set up with weekend sunrise/sunset timers for our patio string lights; I used another with time on/time off settings for our holiday lights. Gifted the third unit to our neighbors who, every night and morning, were pushing and pulling their holiday lights cord into and out of an outlet; just couldnt bear to see them do it anymore. Only negative is the apps interface, which could use some serious updating and streamlining; its straight outta 2010. However, with the various timer options, its pretty much set-it-and-forget-it, so the app shouldnt be needed after the initial set up. And initial set-up itself was fairly painless; just followed the simple instructions.

> 24 hourThis is my third purchase of this product. Works great. Durable. Weatherproof. Use it to light my back and front yards. Easy Alexa integration. Great scheduling feature.
