> 24 hourThis just doesnt work. You could spend hrs trying to get it to connect to Wi-Fi. By the time you either give up or do get an actual working device, you will have already bought a different brand. STAY AWAY! of the 6 I ordered, only 2 ended up working and then 1 died over the years. Figured to retry my luck only to relive the hell of trying to get it to connect and then ultimately accepting defeat.

> 24 hourI got this item to control the outdoor ground/pathway lights in my backyard. I have and old power supply for the lights but all it can do is turn the lights on or off. I need adjustment for daylight savings time. So instead of buying a new power supply. I got one of these. It works great! I now plug the power supply into this and then into the outlet. The app is good and easy to set up. With the app there are many different options for turning lights on and off. I cant try the Alexa part of things because I dont have one. Sorry. Great product would buy again if need to.

> 24 hourThis 15A outlet is Wi-Fi controlled so I can turn it on an off using an app on my phone. I can also control it using my voice with Amazon Alexa and if my network goes down for some reason I can control it with an onboard switch. A great and versatile addition to my life.

> 24 hourI had the same difficulties other reviewers expressed, in setting up this plug-in. I reset it about five times, and re-installed the WiOn phone app a couple of times before I got it all to work. As others have commented, I had the same issues with the ambiguous printed directions. Once programmed, I installed the plug-in at a sheltered outdoor outlet, so far it is working correctly. Time will tell...

> 24 hourI was looking for a smart switch that would work out on my patio for hanging lights in the summer and Christmas lights in the winter! The location it would be in would not be super exposed to the elements, but it wouldnt be fully protected either. So my guidelines were that it needed to be quality, interface with my Amazon Echo, interface with my Google Home, be safe to keep plugged in continuously, and perform without fail. Upon first opening the box you find that its of a very good quality and I didnt have any worries that it would be safe out on the porch. The device itself works flawlessly and I have yet to fail to respond to commands from the device app or from my Amazon Echo. Where it fails however is from my Google home, its not supported as you would expect unfortunately, but maybe in the future (hint hint Google!) The app that pairs with the device does what it needs to do, but with very little frills. The app is cheesy and kind of outdated looking, but it does offer basic on/off functionality as well as timers etc. One thing I want to point out as Ive noticed some people asking about it, both outlets are controlled at the same time, there is no on for one, off for the other. Overall, Im happy with the device itself, I knocked off 1 star just because it doesnt support Google Assistant and for the app, but dont let that hold you back, it does what it needs to do outdoors safely.

> 24 hourCorrection! I restarted(rebooted) my router and like magic all devices reappeared on my app. Hope this is helpful to others. Today two years after purchase all 5 of mine are none functioning. Interesting they all went out at the same time. Tried reset as instructed, but will not connect to my router. All other devices, Nests cameras and all other wifi devices work. Worked great when it worked. Hope I can find a better quality and reliable brand. Very disappointed!!

> 24 hourEasy to program and it works well. I have two of them in my two houses, each run on different wi-fi/internet, I can control both from my Samsung Android very well. I like the Timer that I can add any day/time for start and end. Do not have by dates though, but I do not need programming by date either. If you have your network name hidden, then you need to type in the network name (and the pwd) on the WiOn apps so that it can find your network. Thats is the only difficulty I ran across.

> 24 hourBought a few of these years ago and had a good experience. I bought another one to replace one but this one wouldn’t connect. Kept. “Looking for server” so I called customer service and they gave me some bs about “I’m level 2 and this requires a level 5 technician” I know the trick because I called several times and got the same responses. The trick is “when we bump you to level 5, it’s a $55 dollar one time fee”. Makes no sense- that’s more than I paid for the actual device and wreaks of fraud. I asked what they would do and one said they would connect to it and upload a patch to the device. But how can they upload to the device if I can’t connect to the device? Super disappointed and I ended up returning. The other 3 still work so I’m not putting 1 star but buyer beware now

> 24 hourThese work great; have purchased 3 of them, the first one about 2 years ago, and its still going strong. To be fair, though, I do live in Southern California, so the unit hasnt lived through much rain and moisture, but has stood up well to extreme heat. I have one unit set up with weekend sunrise/sunset timers for our patio string lights; I used another with time on/time off settings for our holiday lights. Gifted the third unit to our neighbors who, every night and morning, were pushing and pulling their holiday lights cord into and out of an outlet; just couldnt bear to see them do it anymore. Only negative is the apps interface, which could use some serious updating and streamlining; its straight outta 2010. However, with the various timer options, its pretty much set-it-and-forget-it, so the app shouldnt be needed after the initial set up. And initial set-up itself was fairly painless; just followed the simple instructions.

> 24 hourBought this to operate a fountain in the backyard. The outlet it is plugged into is not particularly close to my inside wifi router, yet it receives the signal just fine. The app to operate this device works well, even if the UI is a bit eccentric. But all in all, I am very pleased.
