> 3 dayWorks very well. I have three of them. Has a timer function and an astronomical function, so for example you can have it turn ON at sunset and OFF at 11pm. I have one controlling a webcam that’s set up to turn on at sunrise and off at sunset. Another controls landscape lighting that goes on 30 minutes after sunset and off at 10:30pm. The third controls a heated doormat, which I set to come on at 11:59 am and off at noon — I actually only use this occasionally so I turn it on manually and the noon setting is just to turn it off automatically if I forget to turn it off manually. My only complaint is that the manual doesn’t tell you how to change to a new Wi-Fi signal, but if you scan reviews you can find how to do that.

> 3 dayNowhere in the description of this or their website does state what you find out when reading the instructions: you cannot control the two outlets individually. Whats the point of having 2 outlets on this then? 2019: I have 2 of these now and theyre not bad. They do the job. I just wish that it would have stated beforehand that you can not control each of the 2 outlets individually.

> 3 dayI ordered two of these units in 2018 (currently 2019) to control outdoor Christmas lights. They work great - easy set up, app is easy to navigate -though make sure you give them 1 word names - and very easy integration into Amazon Alexa. I set up a routine in Alexa to turn them off and on at given times, and grouped them under Outside Christmas Lights so that I can also voice command them. Then I put them in storage for a year, pulled them out this Christmas and they still work great. Ended up buying two more.

Greater than one weekI have had this working over the winter to turn on the outside lights on my patio. The construction of the outlet is pretty good, it connected right up and had zero issues working with the amazon alexa. The reason I gave it three stars is the app. The outlet has been deleted from the app 3 times already on it own. All of a sudden alexa says the device is not responding and it is because the outlet is no longer recognized as a device in Wions app. I have to go back out and set the outlet up again, then put it back in the alexa app and everything works again. Its extremely annoying, but I guess if I would have spent a little more I wouldnt have to reset my outlet every so often.

> 3 dayAfter a few days of use, I can say this: The actual hardware works. The problem is the app. Example: I wanted to have it run for an hour from 11:30 p.m. It claims a countdown timer. So I set the countdown timer, and, in doing so, it looked like this: Start 11:30 p.m. 4/21/17. Stop 12:30 a.m. 4/21/17. Noticing that this would run for about ... 100 years, I manually changed the stop time to 12:30 a.m. 4/22/17. Then I waited. It didnt turn off at 12:30 a.m. on 4/22. More experimentation is in order, but my tentative guess is that DESPITE what the timer said (about 12:30 the same day), it had originally been set for an hour, and that by changing the date, I messed this up in some way. My conclusion, however, is that whoever programmed the app did not consider the possibility of a timer running past midnight, and just set it up wrong. Which is a shame because, otherwise, this thing is EXACTLY what I wanted. I dont have it controlling lights, I have it controlling the circulation pump for my hot water heater. (The pump was initially on a timer, but I got annoyed with having to run outside the house any time I wanted hot water outside the timer hours.) I have it set for a morning shower sort of timer, which (so far) has been turning on and off exactly as programmed. It also has no difficulty with just turning the pump on and off from the app (which saves me from the run-outside thing I was trying to avoid). The only place where it has fallen down on the job (so far) is if I want to turn it on for a couple hours at night (to, say, have the dishwasher running overnight). But I quite like it. I may acquire a second one for the holiday lights.

Greater than one weekI first purchased one of these nifty little devices to control a table fountain located on my patio table and to my surprise it worked great! So I ordered two more, one for another fountain in my backyard, and one for the mister pump for the patio misters. All three work flawless. The app doesnt always recognize all three timers right away while your device is using mobile data, closing and reopening the app solves this problem. When at home and this happens switch your device to wifi if its not already and all three will appear instantly. Overall for the price the technology and convience these devices provide, the little app problem is minor and is easily overlooked in my opinion. Great job Woods products for another innovative worth while line of devices! I have ordered the indoor power strip to monitor power consumption of my entertainment center. I will write an updated review when I receive this product and give it some time to prove itself.

Greater than one weekI have two of these. One for outdoor lights, the other for a water fountain. Every day they come in, every day at the set time, they turn off. You loose power and restore, and all settings stay saved. If you would like to manually turn them ON or OFF, just open the app and tap the button. It is a head turner on any back yard party!!! I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN AND RECOMMEND ANYTIME!

> 3 dayIn short, I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again. The reason I took off 1 star is that although the outlet works just fine and is reasonably priced, the whole idea of a smart outlet is to be able to be controlled via an app. Since most people will buy this first, then download or even look at the app after receiving it, I thought this might be helpful for people to be aware of the one shortcoming I found. My use case was very simple, though probably fairly common for most people looking for an outdoor smart outlet, controlling Xmas lights. I simply wanted them to go on at sunset, and go off at a predetermined time, like 1am. At least with the Android version of the app for this, it isnt possible. You can do on at sunset, off at sunrise (which seems excessive to have Xmas lights on at 4 am), or you can turn on at a certain time and off at a certain time, but cannot combine the 2. Other than that small issue, everything works fine. It pairs fairly easily, and works like it is supposed to.

> 3 dayThe product works great. It connects every time. I set it up for my outdoor lights, and I can now set them on a schedule and turn them on and off via my smartphone or Amazon Alexa. As of 06/09/2017, they finally added Amazon Alexa compatibility. If the company makes a new version, I wish that they could control the input plugs separately from your smart phone or with Alexa. The way the product works now is, if you plug in different items in the two in-going plugs, they work in sync with each other and cannot be controlled separately.

> 3 dayThis 15A outlet is Wi-Fi controlled so I can turn it on an off using an app on my phone. I can also control it using my voice with Amazon Alexa and if my network goes down for some reason I can control it with an onboard switch. A great and versatile addition to my life.
